The other day my girlfriend and I were talking, and she said that we should break up. We had only been going out for 2 months, and she said that our relationship was moving too fast. We didn't have sex but we had already done stuff sexually, and she said that it was too soon, but couldn't control herself. She broke up with her last boyfriend because all they did was mess around. We also didn't know each other very well before we started dating. So I can see where she's coming from. She said that she still likes me, that we should try being friends and get to know each other better, and that maybe we'll get back together. "If we do, great, if we don't, that's fine too". Her words were something like that.

She doesn't seem the type to play around with a guy, she's a nice girl. She doesn't have any other guys lined up either. We didn't end in a fight, so I can be friends with her. My question is, does this sound like a girl that wants to get back together at some point? Advice?

I am 15 years old and this year my mom is turning 50. She asked the family (1 bro 1 sis, and mis padres) what we should do. I said A CRUISE!!! My mom thought it was a good idea. I really want to do a 4 night disney cruise in the bahamas in december, but its alrdy so close! How are some ways I can get my mom to accpet because there really isnt that much time! I have alrdy told her i will give her all my paycheck (which sums up to about 500 bucks), give up b day and christmas presents and sell some games i dont use. What else can i do, ill do anything to make her go on this cruise i know she will love it!!

I have had a crush on a guy at work for about 6 months. We're both shy, and I kind of thought he felt the same way...so I wanted to wait for more signals, and see what might happen.

I know...workplace...bad idea. Still, I wanted to at least give the possibility a chance. But it's been a long time and I'm pretty sure it's never going to be. I want to get over it and move on now.

Unfortunately, I am still very attracted to him. And I'm sure he knows it. I get so nervous whenever he is around. I blush, and can't even talk without losing my breath. It's embarrassing and dumb. I wish I could be somewhere where I didn't have to see him. But my job is extremely visible. There is no way to avoid seeing anyone.

What can I do about this? I really need some advice. I have actually been thinking about finding another job - but that's so stupid. There is nothing wrong with my job. I just need to find a way to deal.

What would you do?

Mom and I have tried so many ways to persuade or even hidden his rice-alcohol bottle but there was no better result. He is still drinking and smoking a lot. I have very dark skin n i dont think a lot of guys think i'm attractive 4 that. I mean when i was n 9th grade i used 2 get picked on ALOT because of my skin. they used to call me MIDNIGHT and when we watched a movie in my class, we had to cut the lights off and this boy was like sherry sherry where'd u go!! and everybody started to laugh. then i remember this one time i was taking a test and i had to makr down my race, one guy said what about Her (me) she cant put nothing down..CHARCOAL isnt on here lol. that was funny, but it was hurtful. and even though I'M THICK and i have a BANGING body and a FAT BOOTY( lol some say i could be buffy the body's lil sister) (so i've been told) lol, but a lot of the times guys dont notice me. i mean i think i dress nice n everything but they always seem 2 notice my lighter skinned friends and go 4 my lighter skinned friends than me. My girlfriend just got a job where she is on her feet for 6-8 hours a day at a fancy resturant so she must wear heels. So her feet kill her everyday. Please, serious answers only.

First of all, the abuser is long dead. Second I am seeking therapy.

My therapist suggested that I consider telling my parents what happened to me. I have not told them. It happened over 20 years ago, but it messed me up for a long time and it still hurts.
My husband thinks I should tell them because it might help me. I think that it will just make them feel guilty and upset. Let's be honest: there is nothing they can do about it now! Why make them share this pain?
My therapist says it helps some people a lot, but others not.
I will be honest though that I still resent them on some level for not protecting me when I was little, even though they were great parents and I know (rationally!) that they would have moved heaven and earth to help me had they known.

I have a great relationship with them.

Any thoughts could be help. Thank you.

I go to college that is 2 hours by train away from home, I like to go home every weekened, and stay from friday-monday, because i feel lonely in school and i just not adapt to it, and i just like home. The thing is, my mom married a man like about 2 and half years, and she told me that if i come home too much, it brings lots of inconvience because me and my stepdad could never stay at home alone together. Even though nothing would ever happen, but it just makes her feel better, (like grandma also advise me not to stay alone with him), so is it that i should listen to her and not go home so much and so often, because i should understand her situation, or is it that it's really unfair to me, and go to my dad and stepmom's side. which they live in singapore. please tell me what should i do and how i should think. is it i'm not understanding and selfish?

Last Tuesday was my 30th birthday. My husband usually forgets, so I reminded him a month ago, and then a week before my brithday.
Tuesday morning he had been up for half an hour, so i said, "aren't you going to wish me a happy birthday?"
he said that I should have reminded him, even though I did. He went to work, and was not home until after 8pm.
He had no card, no presents, no flowers. I always make a big deal out of birthdays for him and our children. I make cakes from scratch, invite family for dinner and buy a persent ahead of time. It really hurts me that on my brithday, I did not get anything. I am not a material person, I just wanted him to show me he cares.
On Friday night I told him how upset I was, and he just blew me off. I was crying because my feelings were so hurt. I figured that maybe he might plan something for the weekend, but now it is Sunday and he has done nothing.
How do I get over this? I feel so alone.

Well, next week end me and my class mates are going on an advenure holiday for two nights.
