i am 47 and have already been married once, she is 33 and has the same story. For four years I have been complaining I never want to get married, but over teh summer I have really fallen in love with her and at the same time have been making a whole lot of mistakes with her. I really went overboard around augsut 25th and hurt her. she sucked it up and didn't say anything, i felt like i was going to lose her so I called her and propsed, but she seen right through and said ask me agin when you have a clear head. So a week later I told her I was serious. I never asked her face to face or bought a ring. She doesn't go around telling people or talk about it much, but she cries alot and thinks I am just toying with her heart. I tell her I'm not and I'm not real sure how to rectify the situation. I can affor d a ring just dont want to do all that agin. this is her 2nd marriage why would she expect a ring and wedding. she hasn't asked for either, just said we can go away 4 a weekend.

I think that my wife should serve "her man", but see says she doesn't do that. I think that she should put cake and ice cream on my plate and serve me when we are at family gatherings etc. . (girls, It was a "help yourself" as you want type of service- the wife) I think she should plate my meal and serve it to me. What are your opinions on this? I, the wife, think that he can serve himself and needs to quit whinning, he isn't helpless.

My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over a month now. I love her to death.

School started about 20 days ago.

So what's the problem?

-I have maybe hung out with her 4 times (twice by ourselves) since school started.

-We have no classes together for the entire year.

-We have no lunch periods together for the rest of the year.

-Neither of us have a licence and we live on opposite sides of town.

-She has cheer after-school from 1:50 to 5, then had homework until 7, when she eats with her family, at which point I'm past curfew.

-She can't meet my mom 'cause my mom still thinks I'm to young for a girlfriend (I'll always be her baby).

-My parents are divorced, and like about 20 mins apart. I go to school with my dad, but still spend each week alternating nights between parents, along with switching houses every other weekend (makes this a lil harder).

There's a lot more, but I'm outa room. Basically, I needa know: What should I do?

I have recently located an address for my ex husband. We have been divorced for 12 years and have a 13 year old daughter that he has not seen since she was 6 months old. There is no existing child support order because I have never wanted his money. I'm sure he believes that he owes 13 years of child support and that is why he has never tried to contact me. Our daughter is starting to ask a lot of questions that I can't answer and I believe she has the right to know him.

He was only 18 when we married and I have no idea what kind of person he has grown into. I'm terrified of my daughter getting hurt.

I feel I am being taken advantage of by some "friends " when they do a favor for me. I never charge my friends when I do favors for them. I give free haircuts and let friends use some of my things. I was in a relationship on and off with a guy for about 2 years. He would be mean to me sometimes, he would get angry easily, he would claim that I wasn't his girlfriend, he was involved with drinking and drugs. His friends even told me I could do better. Over the summer we got in an arguement. We talked about it and it was patched up you could say...but through our actions it seemed we were just friends after the arguement. I was sick of this off and on relationship. We hung out a few days later and had a good time but I knew in my heart I couldnt deal with this anymore. I slowly faded out of his life. I care about him so much, I really do, I gave him my virginity...and I know walking out of the relationship wasnt the most mature way to handle it but I didnt know what to do. It frusterates me that right now I have no one but he has a new group of friends w/some girls to hang out with. Do you think he still thinks about me?
