I know it is 2007 and I should not even have to ask this, but I am still curious. Is it okay for a girl to ask a guy out? Would it make her look desperate to him? Would he think it was flattering? Would it be extra humiliating if she were rejected? I am into a guy and I am just thinking of taking the plunge and asking him out. Guys, what would you think? Girls, what do you think?

I found yahoo answers as a place to answer all my curosities. This is one of them . I heard some girl at work say im an asshole , when I havent even talked to her .I have noticed women hate quiet people , especially ones who dont talk to them . Why do women consider some one who keeps to himself an asshole? and why do they quickly look away or walk away when they see me ? How could a quiet person probably hurt them?

I like this guy and im TRYING to get over him. not to be mean or anything but he is VERy air-headed, dumb. One minute he says he likes me, but now he is saying he doesnt. And when he DID like me he was gonna ask me to homecoming, but he didnt want a g/f. I dont understand. we went to the movies and didnt even hold hands. just a hug. :[ He told me himself he DIDNT like me, but he acts other wise. he stares at me, and he does think im pretty and he flirts, but maybe im just seeing what i want to see. :/ I want to know do u think he likes me or not and one day should I just go up and kiss him and see what he does all though im trying to get over him cause he doesnt like me?

I am doing this to be a smarter, responsible person .

my mother told me before if i ever wanted to go on it to ask, but it wasnt easy for me so i didnt tell her .

now i feel guilty , today was my first time taking the pill and just the feeling of me swallowing it was like all this guilt building up inside of me . =( .

start an ARGUMENT...BECAUSE then it becomes one person hates another...and i am non-confrontational...and hate fights...if someone fights what i do is TUNE them out...and WALK AWAY...That is how i was raised...plus if you know someone will disagree with you do not get into it with them...just say.."I see"...and walk away...

would it be pathetic if i asked my ex who cheated on me and who i still have feelings for to be friends. I met him when 12 chased him away after 6 months .Now i am 31 always curious of were he was had no info of him 3 years ago found him called his house his wife answered she knew of me when she married him i was 1 y she asked who was calling for i told her she asked my name i gave it to her she said were i was calling from one city over she said what do you want i said only to no how my father is and nothing more .she said he's not here i said i'll call back next day phone was disconected i was hurt i had their adrress but never went.did not want to cause problems ! but i feel confused?

My wife and I have grown apart religiously. We were both doing another kind of church and in the last year has gone full christian. She follows Keneth copeland ministries real heavy and I am finding out that she is donating like 300-$400 per month to him and a Babtist group. She has a $2000 Amex bill and asked me for money to pay for this. We both have income so I could just let it go but she also wants to sonate some of what I bring in. I told he I did not agree and maybe we should divorce. I am really not into this and did not sign up for it at all.
My mom gave me a few refrences from the bible where Jesus kicked the tables of people collecting money and so I don't know why these evangelists are justified in lining their pockets. How can they?? I am really wondering if I am looking at divorce. I disagree with all of it

So I have been talking to this guy. I asked him is he was seeing anyone else and he said not since we have been talking. I feel so normal and average. I dres normally.....jeans and a nice shirt. I make average grades on my report cards.....A's and B's and maybe a C here and there. I have a normal amount of friends.......a few very close and a few farther apart. The after school activities i play are pretty normal, nothing extreme.......gymnastics, volleyball stuff like that. Is this normal for a teenager to feel? I don't want to change i just want to know why i feel this way.

I'm 18 and sometimes people outside stares at me and compliments me saying I look pretty/beautiful/sexy and I would smile and say thank you. I'm a nice person with no evil intention, I never backstabbed my friends, even they say that I'm so nice. I have a question regarding really proper shower etiquette.

We've already decided that the wedding will be small, i.e. meaning, parents and grandparents only, no aunt, uncles, cousins, etcetera.

I'd like to still have a shower, not to get gifts, I already have a silver set and all the dishes I could ever want, but just to party with my friends, female family, and I won't lie, maybe get some lingerie for the wedding night. All the showers I've been to, no house gifts, just lingerie stuff.

Is it appropriate to have a shower if you're technically not having a wedding? I'm not asking for wedding presents or money from anyone.

Please do not respond with what is considered appropriate for today. My family is weird about all those old proper etiquette rules. So if anyone knows the Emily Post, Ann Landers kinda response for this, I'd really appreciate it!

P.S. There's no bachelor / bachelorette parties, btw.
