In dating it's been said it's best to make the guy wait for sex, does he find it boring or better when he finally gets it?

JMO- but I started dating my husband when I was 20. I kinda used the rule "friends before lovers" and we did wait about 3 1/2 months before having sex. It built up our relationship for just that right moment. 14 years later, we're still very happy.

Mesame, regardless of what he might say the real fact of live is that males respect females who do not just give it up for them or others, not for long relationships anyway. If a girl wants to go around and give it up to each and everyone that comes around certainly nobody is going to want to have her hanging off of his arm on a permanent basis, but the odd time as an old reliable would be all. Girls that have some morals and a belief system that others may look at as sqaure, have far better luck at attaining and maintaining long lasting relationships. As for finding it boring there are not many young guys that find getting it on with their ladies boring. Most look at it as a badge or notch on their belts to brag about and walk around like a rooster with their chest sticking out. be careful when considering making out with anyone because fact of life is that once you do lose your virginity that person will in all reality probably not be your life partner. A lot of girls foolishly believe that by being active they are making themselves more attractive to the males. Reality is though that majority of them only get a repuation as that of being a female with either loose or no morals.

Games are not acceptable in any way, shape form and 'The Waiting Game" has been the most popular even in my day. I have since learned that no matter what, if you are not ready to have sex and it is not an issue on your mind - please tell the fellow up front and don't entertain any touching, or anything that would give him any reason to doubt your seriousness. Men will 'play' long enough to 'get it' and then move on to the next one.
The issue of sex is about YOU and if you are ready. Period. Not about him. Wait. Wait, Wait. Don't rush it. It is the most wonderful experience in the world with someone you truly love and trust and who loves and trusts you and you are committed to one another only.

It all depends on the chemistry between the two. If he really likes a woman, I am sure he will not be bored. But you just want to be sure that he is not just into you because he wants sex only! Besides, if he wants a real relationship, he will wait for the sex!

OK, very good - I admire that in a girl, I'm so in love with you. You give me hope in that perhaps a there still a nice girl out there...
Anyways, if he doesn't respect your wishes then that means he is simply in it for sex.
Don't let him pressure and I think maybe 8 months is enough time. If he leaves, well, you see that he is not worth it.
Besides, better to be sure, rather than to sleep with him and feel used and regret it for the rest of your life.

A guy will not find sex boring. The reason you wait is to make sure he will like ALL of you and not just use you.

I think that he (or at least I) would like it better if you waited.
I say this because then you can get to know what most of his habbits are (if he is a pig, etc) just so you dont get hurt if he didnt like your "performance". Just remember that though, if a guy is too eager for 2nd base, then just strike him out because he will just end up hurting you.

It's best to make them wait. That way you can find out if they are 1.) scumbags or 2.) worth it, or 3.) in love with you.
if he really cares about you, he will wait patiently, and he will be so grateful and excited if/when he "gets it"

I don't think they even care one way or the other. Sex is an act that feels good. Men really don't care about anything but their primal needs. That is one of many things that never evolved from the caveman to human.

Boring no.... but usually it doesn't last too long for him anyway...lol. Of course then he's embarrassed and doesn't call you and starts going out with another girl... or you can wait and do it on the wedding night...then he's stuck with you.
