Why do women get so excited when a person talks about marriage???
C`mon marriage sucks ur just stuck with one woman thats all.........

It is the idea that they have found the person they can depend on for the rest of their lives. After all the whole idea of marriage is to find the one special person you can love for the rest of your life. Marriage does not suck if you are with the right person...... often times people get married for the wrong reasons or without fully understanding what it really means... usually these marriages fail and can be unpleasant to be in.

We start life with fairy tales that end up with marriage to prince charming and happy ever after, so we are set high ideals at an early stage.
Then there is the fairytale wedding - being a princess for a day dressed in a beautifyl dress - being no I all day.
Thirdly there are kids. Women are biologically made to want kids and most do. Kids are a lifetime prospect and commitment and we want the lifetime support and commitment from a partner to go with them.
Marriage sucks when you are stuck to the wrong person - that's why there is divorce. Marriage is great when it works for all concerned in that family unit.

Not ALL women get excited when a person talks marriage. I sure am not interested in marriage, I wasn't interested in it when I got married. Some women feel that their lives are not complete without marriage. Some of us know better.

I think some people focus on the "wedding day" and not the ever after.
And, guess what...married women are stuck with just one man and that's it! It goes both ways.

i havent got a f***king clue why women get so excited about marriage, and i am a woman. i mean, you can live together if u like him that much. why the f**k would you want to be financially, legally, morally, sexually, emotionally tied to someone for the rest of your lives, i dont know. perhaps its traditional, women used to rely on marriage for their livelihood, roof over head etc, and they don't seem to have advanced much beyond that way of thinking

Your young and we all felt this way at one time ... perhaps someday you will meet someone you can not live without and the thought of being without them breaks you and being with them makes you.
Or you could be alone your whole life going from woman to woman perhaps getting STD's, getting taken advantage of or simply never meet a person who you are so totally proud of and admire to such an extent you simply love them and will even change for them as they will change for you.

Not all marriages suck...don't generalize. Just because you feel marriage isn't right for you doesn't mean that it isn't right for others.
And not all women get excited about marriage.

When you find the one for you you'll understand.When a guy wants to commit himself it's love so it has a special meaning family and such.My advice to you will be enjoy yourself as much as you can because you never know when you'll meet the one for you that will complete you.

my friend marriage might not be 4u, or you just haven't fallen inlove to long to spend the rest of your life with that special one. of course I think thats what other think\ or you thought you were i l and now you feel stuck and miserable?
