in august'06 my ex and i opted to agree that i would have a psyche evaluation as a prerequisite to my having vistation rights to our 3 year old daughter. since that time, i've been facing financial difficulty which has hindered me from having this evaluation. I've been paying child support, but recently i recieved three payments back in the mail because her p.o. box (the only thing indicating the possible whereabouts of my daughter) had been closed with no forwarding address.Our daghter was born in california, but alaska was granted jurisdiction in this matter after my ex "fled" there, making false allegations of abuse and violence. It appears that she believes that she has no obligations to inform me of her whereabouts with my daughter. what are my rights at this point concerning basic information about my daughter? how do i formally request info abuot her? can i do so by contacting her attorney, or do i make a motion to the court?

Why is it when I don't say a word to my Ex-husband at visitation he starts saying a lot of bad stuff around his daughter and he in the first place wants us to stop fighting then he starts up fighting with me at visitation? Does that make since at all?

My title sounds dramatc...but...
I am 16, and in my state, 16 is the age of consent.
I am dating a man in his 30's.

We have been best friends for two years, and he was the only person who got me to stop doing drugs, smoking cigarettes, drinking, and generally ******* up.
Nobody can make me smile or feel like he can, and he has helped me get away from abuse and so many problems.

He loves me,I love him.
It may sound dumb at my age, but I know what I feel.

I just...I don't know. I know that at 18 I want to immediately be with him, but he has been married once [for ten years] and has a 7 year old boy. I think he wants to get married ASAP and I just don't. I'm too young for that, right? I want to have a child with him, but not when I'm fresh out of high school. It just scares me that I'll be moving too fast, but my way would be too slow for him.
Help!

we have been together 15 years and have a 14 year old daughter. He gives me no money, i am a mature student and have to rely on student loans to keep me and my daughter.
He has been on 4 weekends abroad this year, yet when i mention us going away he says hes no money.
I am very busy with my university course but still manage to keep the house tidy, he does nothing at all to help. He comes in from work, eats his tea and falls asleep, theres no affection-nothing!
On the odd times we go to the local pub, i have to go halfs with him even though i only get £2,500 a year and hes on £40,000. He pays the mortgage and other bills but i pay everything for our daughter and he has the cheek to say i dont appreciate him!
I dont know what to do but i am very unhappy with all of this, do most husbands support their wives? am i making a big thing out of nothing?
advice please

and he doesnt work is on dissability.. his wife works and they just started paying 3 months ago...well she did. what can I do when Im spending so much on the kids every month that $200.00 barely covers for food for 2 weeks..evrytime I ask them for money for the kids for lunch, allownace clothes and shoes and extra stuff.. he send it to CS and hes only doing that so his debt that he owes from 10 years goes down and I just feel that is a seperate issue... CS and personal expenses for the boys are two different issues please can someone give advice!! I use CS for bills and motgage and food.. Im in Ca

I want to get a divorce. We own a home. There are 10 more years on the mortgage. I want to move out and buy a condo, but I can't afford it without half of the sale of the house money. He won't move out. I'm so confused about what to do. I could use some guidance, please.

My grandfather who is 84 years old came to visit us from out of state. He went to bed last night at 9 pm and didn't get up until after 2pm today. We kept checking to see if he was breathing and tried to give him breakfast and lunch. He talked nonsense. When he got up he was very disoriented and my husband saw that he was drinking hard alcohol like whiskey or brandy straight from a bottle that was in his suitcase the night before. When he woke up we went out to eat as he demanded it. He almost fell over a few times in the restaurant and we came straight back home after eating and now he is crashed out on the bed. Should we be concerned to call and notify my dad (he deals with him a lot and knows how to handle his drinking habits)? I don't want to take him to a detox center if he isn't that bad, maybe he is just really tired? But I am scared that if we call dad is may start a big fuss but also am torn bcz I dont want to see him seriously ill or die! Please advise me ASAP! I m confused.

Before I had kids, I weighed about 135 pounds, on a 5'9" frame.
I gained about 40 lbs, and I've lost about 10 lbs. so far. I work out 6 days a week for an hour a day. He NEVER says anything about how I look, except for when he wants to make a snide remark about the size of my butt, etc. He even goes so far as to say I spend too much time exercising, and that I should be spending that time on household chores. I'm tired of feeling like a fat, frumpy, tired housewife!!

I think I'm totally in love with my study partner but I'm scared if I leave my husband he will get custody of our daughter plus there is also her to take about as well. I'm 18, I'm slim and I'm nicer than most girls these days. I don't go out for the bad boys type, I don't go to clubs or bars or whatever. People outside compliment me saying I look pretty, gorgeous and they even compliment my outfits too. One guy said "sexy" in front of my face when I walked yesterday. Yet... no one ever asks me out? Why is that? It seems like everyone has a bf/gf so easily, yet I can never get one. :( What am I supposed to do to get one?

Im 26 with 3 kids and one on the way. I'm working full time and my kids father just got laid off. He makes money by selling cds on the street which is not much really. I'm trying to change this by going to school online now, so in two years i'll have a degree. I really can't stand the way things are right now. I haven't done laundry in over a month because of no money. I need things for the baby, things for me. All my money goes to damn bills and rent. We pay for childcare for two kids.That's it. I told him when he was on umemployment to go to a traing school, but he diden't take that seriously. Yes, I have faith things will get better, but in the meantime my man can't support his family the way he's supposed to. What am i supposed to do here? I'm getting frustrated with this now.

It just seems to me that people entering marriages without thinking things through. They enter with unrealistic goals and expectations only to discover that marriage takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice. What do you think?
