The JC Penneys outlets often have some nice gowns. A friend of mine got a gown and veil that had never been worn and were very nice at a consignment shop. The best is the annual sale at Filene's basement which is held at various Filene's around the country. My friend's daughter picked up a $5000 gown there for 1/10th of the price.
