Neither of us proposed to each other we discussed it and decided we wanted to get married and a month later we did it. I sometimes wish i had a nice proposal story but the way we met and fell in love was enough of a story on its own.

:-D I've been proposed to 4x. the 1st 3x I didn't go thru with any of them cos it wasn't right (not the proposal... the guy). They were all kind, sweet, long term relationships & have stayed my best friends...

With the one I eventually married, he did absolutely nothing... we were on holiday on a private beach drunk on margaritas & coconut drinks, laughing & having and amazing time. He tossed me on a the sand, lay on top of me & held my engagement ring on the tip of my nose. All he said was "you're not moving till you wear this..." it was so shinny it hurt my eyes. we got married the next evening.

Honestly, no special way, if you're the right guy for your girl, anything you do will be amazing.

Now I'm curious, care to share your special way?

to be honest, it was by mutual agreement after we ran out of reasons not to get hitched! We had central heating, a new roof, a holiday, new car, new jobs.. and before we knew it, we were approaching 13 years anniversary of being together and decided to start again from 1 before we hit 13!!

truth? we were getting ready for my girlfriend's wedding. i was in the bathroom curling my hair when he came in and said 'so, you want this thing or what?", and handed me the ring. i already knew about it cause we had picked it out together but i told him he still had to ask. so he did. be still my heart. real romantic huh? i said yes anyway and we'll be married 24 yrs next month.

took him to the most romantic place in the world, dressed as elegant as a lady can dress spoiled him with the most delicious meal and champagne then back to the hotel room and whilst making love, whispered in his ear, will you marry me?

no offence mate.. but that's not a really lovabe thing to do to come on the internet and ask strangers for advise or a way to propose.

just do it the way you want.. better that way tbh
