California is the most expensive place to live have you thought about moving somewhere less expensive. Do you work, i know 167.00 is nothing your right about that but the courts look at his income. Are you remarried?

Instead of asking them for money why not say hey the kids need this or that can you please go get it for them. If they have a checking account they can write a check and have that as proof if need be. Talk to your ex and his wife about maybe paying for two weeks of the lunches and you pay two weeks. Again they can write a check and it can be made out to the school. Talk to them about maybe helping you with half the allowance's for the boys let them know you are trying to teach the boys responsibility, there again they can write a check out to the boys. If they don't want to help in this way then I would say go and talk to a lawyer and see what options you may have. Hope this helps Good Luck

You can always take him back tocourt for a remodification to child support hearing and explain your story. Dont tellthe courts what the money is being used for though as its only supposed to be for the kids. But be arned you can only get so much out of a turnipso you may not collect any new amount but then thats dads problem and not his wifes

$200 every two weeks for his part of support seems pretty okay to me. He isn't supposed to be fully supporting the kids, and he is NOT supposed to be supporting YOU. With your contribution, you should have enough for your children, I would think. You obviously have to live within your means.
