You make it sound as if this is the norm in a marriage or relationship. What are you thinking? If this is what your relationship is based on instead of good strong honesty, respect and moral fiber, then I guess this is the way you will go about your life. In that case, who cares who cheats. Neither one of you has put prior thought into the right reasons to be together.

It's never a good idea. What makes you think the other person will cheat? If you have a relationship where you don't trust each other then you don't belong together.

If you have a feeling of cheating, you will eventually cheat. Its not a recommendation to cheat if you are married. Perhaps you need to reconsider the factors that are leading you to cheat before you decide to do it. If you are not happy with your marriage, why not communicate your problem and see if there is a solution. Cheating is not big deal. The big deal is the aftermath of cheating. How would you feel after wards? What consequences follows after wards? Whatever you do will one day somehow come around to light. Its better to consider to fix the marriage problem you have at hand than considering cheating as a solution.

Is it cheating if you really don't' care for the other person? It sure doesn't sound like you think too much of this guy if you're going to snake him before he snakes you. I say if you think he might cheat, chances are he's already cheated. Good Luck

Perhaps the other person has had the chance but has too much love and respect for your marriage to commit adultery. However, if you think that little of your marriage and your spouse and are that immature, then screw around. Flush your marriage vows down the toilet. It's your life.

God no! If you're married and even ever USE to love the other person, get out if you don't want to be with them anymore. Making a mistake marrying the person is one thing but cheating is WAY worse.

How sick is this relationship?
Does the use of the words "cheat" and "good idea" in the same sentence give you any clues?

you don't really know if that is what they will do.. and if you do that and they are not even thinking like that then you ruined what relationship you have with them. even if you rebuild it .. the cheating will hang in the air for ever
