my husband tells me he loves me and doesnt want a divorce. but he cheated on me twice. now he and i have decided to take a break. and i think once he realizes he does need me it will end. but i have decided to date. do you think even though he has done it to me, that he will care if i date other people? i dont want to ruin my marriage but i cant sit around forever.

For married couples, what is the rule when it comes to your money? Is it OUR money? or MINE is still MINE and YOURS is still YOURS? or does the wife really have a say on her husband's money?

Is there a law that says that once you are married, you own what he owns?

im 13, in 8th grade. so theres this guy, i thought he was cute last year, but i never really liked him a lot. this year when i saw him some reason i like him a lot, this weekend i spent most of the time thinking about him. but heres the thing, i never was sure if he had feelings for me. and this year a new girl came and she and my group of friends became really good friens. but on the second day of school she told us she liked him the gossip got to him so he knows. now when he looks at my table its hard to tell if hes looking at me, or her. nothing really did happen between him and me. we havent even talked to each other. but idk its confusing. and no one knows i like him cuz if i tell they might say im coppieng my friend. What are your opinions? how do i become his friend?(cuz i really do want to) but i only take one class w/ him and its only twice or three times a week , and one week its pe then the next week its health

I ask because I am considering it in the future. My ex and I didn't want to divorce but we didn't get to the courthouse quick enough to get the paperwork away from the judge. Now that the divorce is final we are trying to get back together in hopes we can remarry. We both love one another very much and our divorce was a misunderstanding about mis-information. Moral of the story was not to trust meddling in-laws who spread rumors (that aren't true). I just wonder how successful it is. We are going to counseling and taking it slow. Suggestions? Comments?

ok so my gf broke up with me about a month ago. im positive theres no chance of us getting back together so thats not an issue. so i just have a couple ?'s for the masses to answer.

why when i go out, im looking over my shoulder for her like shes going to appear out of nowhere?........she dont even live near me.

why do i have thoughts about her and i know we are done? no chance of a get together. it is what it is, i should just let it go. but i just find myself having random thoughts about her whenever.

also, why when i go anywhere i find myself comparing other women to her? in my mind im always like, "she aint nothing compared to her", "shes better looking". u know the usual stuff.

why do i have thoughts like this?..........opinions please.

OK, I have been with someone for 15 months now and we have never met. He has been sick with cancer and his best friend has been taking care of him 24/7. I live in CA and they live in VA, we met through a mutual friend. Yes we love eachother if you are wondering, Matthew and I that is. Well, his best friend J keeps telling me that he is the one for me but doesn't really have a reason as to why. I love them both deeply and am so confused. I'm thinking his friend loves me cause I am the only girl in his life....remember he takes care of Matthew all day and doesn't get out much at all. My question is this....should I give J a chance or is he just wanting me cause besides Matthew I'm all he has?????????

I'm pakistani, husband is indian (not a huge interracial mixture there!). My only living grandparent talks to me but has never uttered a word to my husband. In fact, when he enters the room, she won't even look at him. She puts down his race all the time (not in front of him). I am having my 1st child in a few weeks and I can't help but to be angry towards her. I know she's old and older ppl are bitter (she's always been a pessimest), but I wouldn't want my future children to be hurt by some ignorant people's actions. Its to the point where 'should i let it slide and still be good towards her cuz i know she's negative since i've known her my whole life' or 'should i stop talking to her altogether out of resentment'. Already I keep it very minimal with her and hardly conversate w/her because I can't hide my feelings. My husband's the sweetest person and despite her actions he doesn't complain. I can't help but to feel angry. Any advice on what I'm doing is right/wrong?

I was surfing the net looking for some expert (or experienced mom) info on the cost of raising children, and happened upon a site I found rather interesting. The site for and about moms who are single. A place to vent about their ex's who were either not paying child support or ex's who ran off and created another family. I found it nice to see a place where you could rant a little (all the women were respectful and breif with their rants) AND get some mental support, and not be critcized.

One of the entries surprised me though. A woman said in her post that her mother had waited to have children. She chose to be a single mom. She waited till she had an excellent career and was able to afford children. The women then went to to blast the moms who were venting, saying that they made a choice to have kids with the men they were married to and that they needed to quit complaining.... She said divorce is almost a way of life and that they should have been prepared...

tell this guy that I like him. I am very shy, so please don't just say to go up to him & tell him. I don't really talk to him (like I never talk to him, lol), so it would just be weird. So. I'm a pretty active person, I keep myself in good shape, eat healthy, lift weights, enjoy club sports, etc. My boyfriend of over a year isn't so active. He's gained about 50 pounds over the past year, including 30 pounds this past summer. He's now officially 20 pounds over weight. I'm worried about him. I tried talking to him, and explaining to him that I was worried about his weight, and how much junk food he's started eating, and invited him to come start weight training with me, or go for walks with me a few days a week to get him into a healthier range. He refused. He isn't interested in playing any kind of sports or games, or lifting weights, and he says he just doesn't care about his weight, and is upset and says I'm acting like he's not good enough for me, and why am I trying to change him? At the same time, his mom has had health problems for years because of her weight. He also thinks that 20 pounds overweight isn't a big deal.
I feel crappy. Help?

I've always dreamed of having a medieval wedding. Well, upon planning and looking at the cost, my wedding has become more and more traditional, so now I'm looking to at least add a little medieval flair! My boyfriend and I have been together for almost four years now, and he has recently (for the past 8-12 months) started smoking. Many in his family smoke so it is no big deal to him, but I come from a family that does not smoke and I do not like it. I never wanted to date a "smoker" but he doesnt consider himself a smoker. I told him that if he couldnt quit I honestly did not want to continue to be together. He claimed that I was "taking away his freedom." He also says he will only be an "occasional smoker" and if I can't handle that then its my problem. Although he hasn't quit, he has decreased the amount of smoking he does. Is it fair of me to put our relationship on the line or what are my options here???

first off, do no think i am a stuck up girl.. its all i know.
i transferred schools, and i got in with the wrong crowd, but they are good friends to me.. well some of them. ( my mom says they are nice, but I can't see how they bring me down) i dated this boy, and i fell in love with him.He did some messed up things to me..i wouldn't have enough characters left if i listd all of them.. haha, i left him, but for some reason what he did really messed with my head. It got so bad i dropped out my senior year, I'M THE FIRST IN MY FAMILY,i was with my friends yesterday and my ex best friend called and i told her not ever to bring my name up, and she did. and my friend josh looked at me and he was like why can't you just get over it. i'm starting to think they are kind of trash too, they bring me down.. they are tellin me its okay what my ex did to me? plus he is like 20 talkng to a 15 year old, i'm upset.. i think its time to move onall togther, they are big drug ppl.. wat do u think?
