He knows i have kids and i am married but did not give any details about himself. I haven't talked to him in about 15 years and things were not left on good terms. Do you think he is just being nice or do guys usually have a hidden agenda?

I can understand. I have been curious about an old girlfriend of mine for nearly 30 years.
I haven't pursued it because I'm never going to find that 18/19 year old girl that I once knew. It's just one of those "if I could go back in time" fantasies.

He might be going through a bad period in his life, romantically speaking, and thinking about people from the past. I would not get involved at all, not even by responding to his e-mail. It will only encourage a correspondence that you don't need.
And you never know - he could be mentally unbalanced today. That would be even worse...

why to parinoid just wants to know what you are up to what would be the agenda all of the sudden it has been over 15yrs if he was up to something dont you think he wouldve done something a long time ago.
