Affordable is only based on the cost of your wedding. A typical wedding planner will charge you 10-15% of your wedding. That is fairly standard. If you find someone cheaper, make sure you get references and ensure they are valid member of a wedding planner or bridal consultant organization. Beginners may charge less to get started, that is a risk you may want to take.

Not sure about a good wedding planner, but FloralEvents does the best flowers in town. I was a coordinator at my church for awhile and they were definiltey the most professional with the best quality flowers. Highly recommend them.

Ok, go to www.theknot.com and click on the talk tab at the top. Next go to the local board section and find kansas. You can chat with other brides and post questions such as this and get better feedback. I found all of my vendors from other brides in my area that I would have never found on my own. :)
