If a person is controlling, you can't change them, period. Time to either decide if you are willing to put up with her behavior or to move on with your life.
Control is an ugly trait to have.........I know I dated a guy who had previously a controlling gf and he never fully got over that. Always felt that another was out to control him. Know that not ALL women are like this, much like not all men are cheaters contrary to some peoples beliefs.
