Asking this because, I was on the train this morning and seen my ex, I did not look at her again as she is an ex for a reason. But my friend was with me & as we got off the train, he said she continuously looked. Is it because I have gotten myself back on track and treated my self to a new hairstyle, clothes and joined the gym.

I kind-off feel bad for not saying hello, it was an awkward situation. But I like to leave the past as it is and not try to jog memories.

I Have this problem with my mom. She and i havent been talking for months now for a little problem she made a big deal of. She said im not considerd family and that im a stranger in her home i pay 350 for rent and she tells me that i dont need to tell her anything about where im going to go and when im going. Im Practically living my own life under her roof. anywho. Last Friday after work my friend picked me up so we could go to the mall and we were going to go have dinner. she was going to drop off her little sister at the movies but she had to go and pick up some her things so she could spend the night at her friends house. But their mother doesnt like me because of this problem i had with my Mother last year. She kicked me out of the house days after i graduated i had nowhere to go so i went to my friends house. their mother didnt always have a problem with me untill she tried to settle things her own way. She went to my house and spoke to my mom. She came home to throw me out.

We went for a walk and talked for two and a half hours. She has had some difficulties as I have with the divorce and other things. She cried and we hugged each other. No one has hugged me like that since the divorce. I have had been with other women but the feeling was not there. I did not know I would still feel this way until after our walk and hanging by my old house with the kids. Boy did it bring back a flood of emotions that I have not had for over a year. It was very painful and that really hurts. I do not have indifference towards my ex but sometimes I feel it can not come soon enough. Can I make the feelings go away or is time the only healer?

For the last 5 years I've been in touch with one of my ex boyfriends Mom's. Even after our breakup (which was my decision), she kept in touch with me. It was always just "hi, how are you" emails.

For the last 4 years I've been with my husband, married for 2. My ex boyfriend got married last october and the last email I received from his Mom was in December, promising to send me pics from their wedding. It never happened. I'm fine with it...I do miss emailing her but I won't write because I don't want to bother her. Any thoughts on what happened?

I have/had a crush on a guy at work. The thing is we used be close friends and I started liking him as more than a friend. I got the since that he liked me too since he always flirted with me and cracked jokes, etc. But, he has a gf in the Phillipines whom he is engaged to since I helped him get the ring for her. He only gets to go back there once every 2 years and I think we started experiencing sexual tension since we had a convo about doing it. I called him a dog since I thought he was comin on to me but then he denied he was serious bout it and said he was kidding. Iwrote a letter apologizing to him but then he started ignoring me. He said I should focus on someone else and it's best that we no longer be friends since I was too weird & obsessive. I emailed him saying that we were both wrong for talking about sex, he blamed me for being weird. i got mad and told him not to b my friend. He told me not email/talk 2 him unless work relatd. I'm ignoring him and he's ignoring me.

I'm 27, still living at home! I moved out against my Mother's wishes at 21, moved back a few years ago when I had less money!! Anyway, it's getting to the point of driving me to tears again. My mother used to hit me LOADS when I was a kid and put me down A LOT. I don't have much confidence beacuse of this so find it hard to make friends and go out. I am proud of myself though, with GP help I have halved my antidepressants and done a skydive!! Now I want to move out again. I have a savings account my Mum looks after for me, I don't mind this as she is a good accountant. But, feel she OWNS me beacuse of this. I have an account she doesn't know about, and am going to save up money to move out with. I used to have an eating disorder and she is always calling me fat, then if I lose a tiny bit of weight I am too thin. I think she is doing this to control me. I have signed up to a yoga class to be independant. I just need some support and encouragement!!! And more GOOD friends.

this week alone, my boyfriend's parents took away repayment of his $18,000 in student loans and absolutely prohibited him from going a job interview he was salivating over. after an ugly fight between them he conceded to them and did not go.

he lives at home and is miserable every day. he works at a public company where his dad is his boss. he says he is moving out of their house by the end of october and knows i am leaving him if it does not happen.

he told them in advance about this interview and plans on telling them in advance that he is moving out.

i attend 12 step meetings for co-dependence and am a single mom. we are both 24. he is kind, honorable and decent to my family. am i doing the right thing? is this hopeless?

My husband and I have been married a year now (dated for 2 before that). I'm ready to, and really, really want to start a family SOON (like, yesterday). We have a very, very good relationship. He's my best friend, my protector, my provider and just all around the greatest husband I could've ever hoped for. Of course we fight sometimes, but what married couple doesn't? We're financially secure (very, very secure). We do tend to travel quite a bit as his job calls for it (the year before we were married we were on the road 9 months out of the 12 - this past year we were only on the road for 4).

I know he wants kids, he said so while we were dating and when we became engaged he made the comment that my mom should move closer to us that way she'll be there to help us when we have babies. But since then, he hasn't mentioned kids again. We did have one pregnancy "scare" but he wasn't too freaked out about it, just a little nervous.

I need to help a friend of mine out. Her dad is cheating on her mum with another woman out of town. Her mum is completely unaware, and a wonderful person. If she finds out , it will completely shatter her life - like it shattered her daughters life when she discovered this about her dad. The daughter wants to protect her mum from this heartache by all means... she feels there is a possibilty of 'nipping this in the bud' by dealing with the woman directly. She has asked me for advice on what to write in the email she will be sending to this woman. I have thought it over and over... a threat would blow everything out of proportion, while a 'nice letter' might not even be effective. I thought of presenting a story to this woman - a story so touching, that would make her drip with guilt and make her conscience prick her constantly so that it will cease her relationship with my friend's dad. I knew he was downloading porn but recently i found his stash and it is pretty hard core. it is frightening. he has alcohol addiction which we have battled with off and on for all of our time together (as well as drug addiction in the past) He appears quite nice and normal to others, but the porn really threw me. The names of the films are disgusting and I'm too scared to look to see if they are really what they say. He says it's just curiosity and that the names of the videos aren't real, that it is all staged. I don't want to break up but I don't know how to deal with this.
