Well we've been together for 8yrs and we're madly in love and happy! He has a 12 year old daughter from a previous marriage. His daugther lives with us and she call's me mom. I love her do death just as if she where my own. We live a good life we are happy and couldn't be better. His ex is constantly harrasing us and calling me names when she's on the phone with their daugther. She keeps threatning to go to court for some sort of custody and she insist that her and my husband have not gotten a divorce!! I believe my husband and have no reason to doubt him. But what do I do about her? I can't ignore it and besides her I'm happy in my relationship! The way I look at it is she causes the drama so that i'll leave my husband but that's never gonna happen!! So how can I deal with her? How can I make her go away?

I have the number to a very big company that could make me a star.I have everything there looking for and I qualify. The problem is it's in another state and I have long-distance calling. For some reason I'm just nervous about calling.Should I call the people or should I just wait until I feel comfortable about calling. My parents don't know that I am calling another state besides relatives.

He is a volenteer cop for our town...he is always gone...he works his regular job and then goes and does his thing with them...when I talk to him...he says that he is doing something good and instead of being mad to just get over it. I am stay at home mom. I have two young girls and well it does get a little borning. I tell him this and he goes well this is what you wanted when you got pregnant. After the girls get in school you can get a job and get out of house. I tell him I want is his attention not so much something to do. He says well it is hard to give you attention because you always want it. Your not happy with 10-20 minutes. I dont know...I am little mad he doesnt understand how I feel and I dont how to tell him because I have tried but he doesnt get it. What should I do...how should I say it so he understand me better.

I was with a friend of mine that I think I might have a crush on. We decided to go swimming at her friends pool and we did not have bathing suits with us. She did not want to get naked so we decided to go in our underwear. She got undressed first and then me. When I took off my shorts, my unexpected erection peaked out of my front of my boxers. Now she is avoiding me. What can I do?

My soon to be ex was recently charged with forging and cashing a personal check that she stole from her own 18 year old son to pocket the funds Made the check payable to her and forged his signature on the bottom. Pretty ruthless to obtain a couple hundered dollars. Will this affect her ability to gain custody of our two younger kids along with child support?

My fiance' is a nut. He insists on having 9 men stand on his side. He said they are all his best friends and he wouldn't be able to cut any of them out. To make matters worse, he said he can't choose a best man. Instead he is referring to them as a covenant of best men. I do not feel like throwing people in our wedding just to make the sides even. I know they don't have to be even, but I only have about 4 girls that I would truly want to be in my wedding. What do I do because it doesn't seem like he is budging. Thanks for all of the great ideas...

My brother's fiance has asked me to be her maid of honor, when she and him get married sometime next year. She really wants me to be at her bachelorette party, but I will only be 17 by then, and there is NO WAY my mother and father, or even my brother for that matter would let me go.

Any ideas on what i should do?

It's not just the females, males have that problem too. I'm dealing with that much better now days but the problem has got me into trouble before and it may happen again. Then there's females that wants to take care of a guy so that she can feel responsible for his success or something. But why do people really do that co-dependent thing? It must come from childhood issues.

I have a girlfriend who is currently married....I know what goes around comes around and that I shouldn't be with her. But the same thing she's doing to her husband with me, she's doing to me with someone else. She's currently deploying to Iraq and will be here with me tomorrow for 4 days. How do I know so much? Well I have a General POA and passwords to all her accounts and emails. Her phone bill tells all. Should I say something to her, or just drop her and tell her it's been nice and fun, but I'm not the husband and cheating on me is not something i'll except. Or should I just let her make a fool out of herself and just keep lying?

Would it happen, that someone keeps searching for love for long time and this person ends up disappointed deciding not to even wait for love. Could love be cruel to that extent that it abandons some people all their whole life until they die desperately?!

I had planned an 56 anniver dinner for my parents on Sat night. My brother chose to go to a wake for a neighbor who committed suicide. (He wasn't close to this guy but did like him.)

I said I thought they should go to the dinner b/c it was 56 yrs & he said "Are you kidding me? You can leave right now". I left without incident (didn't storm out) just quiety left. Then I thought it over, & called him 10 min later & apologized. He "accepted" but still sounded mad.

I am still hurt over this, that he hasn't apologized to me for asking me to leave AFTER I apologized to him. I realized I was wrong but I think he was out of line as well. The whole family seems to be taking his side.

He did come to the house for cake after the Wake, and I acted very normal, asked how the wake was, etc. but I could tell he & his wife felt funny around me.

I have never felt so alone in my life. I am hurt & alone. What should I do?

My boyfriend and I just moved in together. I guess it’s natural because they can’t hear themselves while they are sleeping, but I cannot get any sleep because his snoring is so bad. It does not appear he really wants to do much about it even though I have insisted. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My mom says I have no morales, and she no longer wants me to be arround my little brother because of my "lifestyle". I am recently divorced, out of a ten year relationship, and my mother lost her husband (my little brothers dad) about four years ago to a heart attack. So, I play a big part in my little brothers life.

She says if I make the decision to live with my current boyfriend that she will not let me see my little brother as much...

Plus she thinks I am jumping from one relationship to another...I am, but I am happy... she says I have'nt given myself time to heel, but I think I have... What do I do??? My mom is disappointed in me, and that is way worse than her being mad at me :) Help...

I'm 26 now and I really don't want to have kids. I will never say never, b/c you never know. But that is my decision right now. I also don't really want to get married either. I've always been an ambitious, independent kind of person who never dreamed of the family life (marriage, house, kids, dog, etc).

The thing is, when I tell people this they look at me like I'm some horrible person. I'm not putting anyone else's choices down or anything. I just don't want these things for myself and I'm glad I can be honest with myself. I see so many parents who should have never reproduced.

Anyone else chose not to have kids and never regretted it?

I do not. What rights do I have? I took my mother for an eye doctor appointment I arranged without consulting my sister. I also purchased new lens and frame for my mother. I have been told by another relative that my sister was under no obligation to reimburse me for the expenses. Moreso, if we had been in an accident or mother fell and got hurt I could have been held liable.

I saw the form but not what my parents initialed for them to be in charge of. My mother is always saying what she wants each of us to have when she dies.. there is no will. I have asked her to do one but she will not. There is a clause in that POA that allows my sister to make decisions in the disbursement of personal property. I don't know if mom gave her that power and mom's memory is unclear now of what all was signed.

Where do I stand? I grocery shop and take mom to the hairdresser every Saturday. To date I have been reimbursed on everything. As far as the bank account and bills I am clueless.

Yeah so I'm 13 and I've had a huuuuugggeee crush on this guy who is now 16, let's call him Patrick. I know he'll never ask me out cause I've literally never even said hi to him. [he was in my older brother's class, and he always tortured my brother haha] But when I changed schools, I went to Lit/Grammar and this guy sits behind me, and looks exactly like Patrick, but he's 13. So should I get to know mini-Patrick or keep being obsessed with the regular Patrick??

I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and have been fooling myself into thinking I could stay with him. He was unemployed for 5 years and only got a job before we started going out. He still lives at home (he is 30) whereas I just bought my second apartment. I earn more money than him but I never thought it was a problem. We aren't 'in love' but do love each other. We get on really well but I have found myself thinking that I can't spend my life with someone who doesn't have any ambition. He recently said that there was a 'possibility' we may get married someday but he didn't seem sure! This put the final nail in the coffin for me and I want to move on and find someone else. Thing is, this is going to come as a complete shock to him because everything is seemingly ok right now. I just can't waste my time with someone who doesn't see a future with me....but how do I let him know??

The reason there is not a father in the first place is because he was abusive & raped 2 of us (his kids).

Now my mom is going through a 'its my time to live' spell, and joined some online dating site.

TWICE she has met men, met with them only once or twice..then brought them back to the house for weekends, She does not 'truly' know these men, and as a child being from an abusive home (i am not living away at school) I am apalled my mom would do this with men she does not know.

Whats worse is there is a 5,15,and 17 yr old still living in the house. What can i say to my mom to get her to understand we dont care if she dates but we DONT want these guys near us until they've been dating a WHILE

I'm looking for a place to have my wedding reception and if possible the ceremony in the same place. I'm mainly looking for a reception hall though. I want a place where we can bring our own food. I've looked online and most don't allow outside catering. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
