they both want to go, actually they both feel they have the right to go. i don't know what to do. my sister is friends with them both, but i am only allowed one date. i hate to offend or hurt either, i'm just caught in between. any helpful advice would be appreciated. I was just wondering anywhere near Chicago, IL, if there is somewhere you can have a handfasting ceremony. I don't want it to be modern, cold/unfeeling or in the city. I would like to surrounded by a warm environment. I would like it more traditional but is there a place near Chicago. I want it to have a rennaisance feel to it. My babys dad and I have been together off and on for over 2 years. It has been a very unstable and rocky relationship. We were both at fault for the drama and fights but now we have a child together. Shortly after she was born he said he would want to be with other women in the future and that he couldn't see himself getting over our past and be able to be with me. I took that to heart and tried to let him go in my heart. Recently he has said he wants a fresh start and to put everything behind us. He promises me that he doesn't want anyone else. He treated me horribly while I was pregnant and even after. Just now he is behaving the way a mature man would. The problem is he pesters me to be intimate with him and I don't really want that or him. I want to be a family for my daughter and for all of us but how can I trust someone that has disrespected me, not appreciated me at all, and told me he wants someone else and then goes back on it. I don't know what to do.

i've been friends with this girl for 3 years and also dated as well, is it ok for me to ask this girl to get married. i just feel that there is no real good or perfect time. have anyone out there been asked by your best friend for marriage? We've been together itimately and its been great we've shared a lot of things, her kids love me and i love them. I'm there for her whenever she needs me and we are like best friends. We've never had the title of boyfriend and girlfriend, but more and more i do not want to let her go, i do love her more than anyone else in my life before. I can't see my life without her. So on my part i am certain of that. i just suddently realized that i want to be withher all the time, am i doing this to suddenly where it would shock her, or being sporactic like this ok, besides when do you ever really know when is a good time, i've known people theyve known each other 2 months and are engage, but i'm not sure about this any ideas?

Does anyone know of any other online paper companies besides Paper Source and Kate's Paperie? I am trying to find 8 1/2 x 11 heavy card stock that is scored longways for a menu card and am not having much luck. Any ideas for another paper company?

Also, has anyone ever printed on black paper with white ink with a home printer? Did it work and how well?

As I was playing with my boyfriend's cell phone I click on his text folder by accident and to my surprise found some text from a number without name I couldn't help it but to read them I was really upset to found out that he was flirting with some other girl he told me that he didn't cheat on me that, that was just an ego boost please we are not in high school any more!!! I'm trying to be open minded to this hold situation but should I trust him after it was him who started the whole flirting BS???

Okay, I am 24 years old and I just recently moved back in with dear old mom n dad while I go back to school to get my real estate license. I just found out that they are getting a divorce basically because my mom is crazy. Not like mentally ill crazy, just yell at everyone and nothing ever pleases her and freak out for no reason crazy. My dad is very soft-spoken, very loving and just can't take it anymore. I fully support him. On the other hand, since I've become an adult, my mom (when not in crazy mode) and I have gotten very close. How do I support my dad and not lose the relationship with my mother while living with them during this split? Also, while I'm on the topic, does anyone have any tylenol and maybe some earplugs?

My husband and I keep separate checking accounts but budget for "joint" things like the mortgage, utilities, etc. When we want to buy something for ourselves we just buy it with our own money so we don't argue. It works pretty well, except for one area: home redecorating. I say that's a "joint" thing b/c it's improving the look and feel of our outdated 70s home. He says it's a hobby and should come out of my own money. I'm not talking thousands; just a new light fixture and some new curtains now and then. Would you consider that something to share or something I should pay for?

Should I stay or go? My bf and I have been together 3 years, but it's been a rocky relationship. He used to tell me how excited he was about being intimate with me. He used to be more intimate with me period. He also used to call me from work to tell me he loved me, but that dwindled down and hasn't happened recently. I'm 23, btw and am feeling like some women do after a 20 year marriage - unappreciated and put down. He also accused me of being disrespectful because I have not met his brother (who, at 30 yrs old, has come to live with his mother because he can't stay out of jail). I have not only not met him because I don't want to, but also due to the fact that I work and attend a university. On my days off, I want to relax - not meet some jail bird who I don't know/care about. I also feel like we're a married couple because I can't stand the rest of his family - I've had the in-law experience and it sucks. Not to mention he has a kid and a crazy ex who uses their son for her benefit.

I read somewhere [probably theknot.com] that the officiant is supposed to mail something to somebody and somebody is supposed to mail something to you [us] before things are official. Is this true and if it is, what is it that's being mailed? Our officiant handed us our marriage license and said "That's it. There's nothing left to do" but, I just want to check and make sure.

Also, do I have to do something to officially change my last name or does that happen automatically? I know I have to go get a new license... Is there anything else?

have been married 11 yrs now 3 and a half years ago I almost left my husband for a man i met online I also told him I was not sure I love him because he has always been a bit controling.
