I went out this weekend with some of my buddies. We ended up in a sports bar and before we went in a friend of mine says "If I get in a fight you have my back right?"
Now understand we are all mid 30's have kids, wives, (or at least ex wives LOL) Houses, cars, and several of us own our own businesses. Back in college and high school, fights were no big deal and we had our share, but at our age?
I said "No I don't, if you pick a fight your on your own"
Was I wrong? Of course if someone attacked him for no reason I would've helped, but risking my life, my kids future, ect.... didn't seem worth it. Any thoughts?

Fifteen years ago my little sister was shot and killed as me and my father watched. I was tied to a chair but my father was untied and free to move about.
He just stood there as the guy shot my sister. He let her die. And he went to prison for it. He will never again be a free man. My testimony sealed that fate for him.
Now girlfriend Meriah has been pushing for me to go and visit him. She says that I should try and forgive him. That I should start seeing things from his point of view. That maybe he really couldn't do anything to save her.
I am totally against this. I hate him for what he did. I haven't seen him since the trial and plan on never seeing him again. I don't want to be hurt again.
Do I give in and go see my father? or Do I stand my ground?

I think i'm depressed but i'm not sure. When i was in 2nd and 3rd grade my parents got into a huge fight and i mean physical. like my dad punched my mom, my mom threw a glass at my dad and my dad threw it back. There was a lot of yelling and screaming. When that happened i felt it was my job to take care of my younger brother in 1st grade and my 2 year old brother this big fight lasted a few years into 4th or the begining of 5th grade. my parents stopped fighting started counseling and my dad went to AA for his alchol problems. Although my parents apoligized i don't think i ever forgave them for those years i remember i had drifted away from my friends and tried to always protect my little siblings either by telling them it was going to be ok or acting like the adult when my parents were being kids. I was told never to tell anyone and i think that that has effected me too. Another thing i tried to do when i was little was make things better with my parents they always seemed to make me

My brother's wife left him for another man. He was a very good husband, but she was not such a good wife (example: she asked him to move out the day before her new man was to move in so she wouldn't be alone in the house for a few days)
He is letting her have the house that he mostly paid for and all their furniture. He says he's doing this because he says she has the right to half of everything including his dental practice. He figures if he gives her the house, she'll leave his practice alone. Is this right?! She's the one who cheated!

Why is it that guys only think about boobs? Every group of boys i pass in the halls are saying boob. Why are boobs so great? sorta like this

i am 21 year old
but because off i had grown up with children younger than my age i speak like a child, resently i joint a course were all the students were of my same age they all came to my friendship but when they found out i am just like a kid they all ran away, even a girl came to become my lover but the same things happened.

my little sister hates my boyfriend and i dont know what to do.. well i was suppose to go see my boyfriend today , but my little sister didn't let me. i have seen this guy out and about the past couple years,he always tried talking to me but i was always wrapped up in my x that I never gave him the time of day. well a couple years later now im over my x and i saw him out and thought he looked adorable,so found him on myspace the next day,we turned into myspace friends,sent him a message asking him to get together,he replied with okay. shortly after he ended up deleting his account,a couple weeks have gone by and now he has an account again,i really doubt he deleted the account because of me, but should i send him a new friends request or wait and see if he contacts me?

After my husband cheated on me many times, I decided to divorce him. I have filed for divorce in VA and in the process of moving to FL. My lawyer says I can bring suit against him in either state. I was told FL will try to force couples to reconcile first and VA will not, but VA favors the men more than women. I want it to be quick I need to know which state would benefit me more to file the suit in?

I've been emotionally scarred by my child's father. & of course I still have to be around him because we have a child together AND I am pregnant again. She cooks. irons, washes, etc and I like it because I don't have to do anything. Surely as she doesn't complain too much I should let her do it all because I don't like chores. If she complained too much I could always replace her so is it correct and logical that I leave her to it?
