I was just wondering anywhere near Chicago, IL, if there is somewhere you can have a handfasting ceremony. I don't want it to be modern, cold/unfeeling or in the city. I would like to surrounded by a warm environment. I would like it more traditional but is there a place near Chicago. I want it to have a rennaisance feel to it. I'm willing to go to southern wisconsin as well. Any response is welcomed. Thank you.

Are you incorporating the handfasting as part of your marriage ceremony?

If you are looking for place to have the cerremony and reception? Are you wanting to be outdoors?

You should be able to incorporate the handfasting as part of your ceremony after the exchange of vows and before or instead of the exchange of rings. AND you should be able to have this anywhere you would like to get married.
