I have the number to a very big company that could make me a star.I have everything there looking for and I qualify. The problem is it's in another state and I have long-distance calling. For some reason I'm just nervous about calling.Should I call the people or should I just wait until I feel comfortable about calling. My parents don't know that I am calling another state besides relatives.

if they want to make you a star, they will call you. be wary of them as they might be selling you a pipe dream.

talk to your parents and express the importance it is to you....in an adult manner. Show them how you would like to take advanage of this opportunity, but if you pass it up, it may never happen again. If you get it, it's meant to be. If not....then let your life takes it's course elsewhere. Good Luck!
BUT REMEMBER, and this is important, take your parents advice seriously. They only want to protect you, from getting hurt. Having misunderstood something that a company is advertising can lead to bad things, hurt feelings misconseptions, and such. Keep it open with your parents about your feelings, like if you are uncomfortable doing something or have 2nd thoughts. NEVER sign anyting without your parents looking first.

Beware!!! There are a lot of weird people out there who will give you a card and tell you they can make YOU BIG. Research the company, see if they are a reputable company. Have you heard of them??? A lot of young people go and catch a rainbow and end up on skid row OR worse. Be successful and work your way up the OLD fashion way. Work for it.

My recommendation is to make the call - but first do your prep work. Make a list of questions they may ask and write down your short answer (keep it short and to the point). You'll probably be nervous, and that will most likely come across the phone, but the more you do this the better you will be at it. Remember - they are looking for someone like you and to be as relaxed as possible.

Make you a star? Don't be fooled or mislead by people or companies looking to take advantage of you. Make the call, because you'll always regret it if you don't. If they ask you for 1 penny, it's a scam!! BEWARE and good luck.
You can pay your parents back for the call.

Wow! Here is my opinion:

Talk to your parents first. See if it's ok with them. Then Go ahead and call. Be safe though, Some companies like to do horrible things.

Hope I helped!

Your gonna be grounded for life if you do it. This big company/ big star deal is probably some scam that will cost your parents hundreds of dollars on their phone bill. Wait and talk to them about it.

Besides, your insticts say don't. So trust that. They usually don't lie.

Talk to your parents about this and have them check out the company.

If you're serious, you should also have an agent looking out for your long term interests.

Why don't tell your parents? I'm sure they can sacrifice a few dollar if you have the possibility of success.

If they don't trust you call anyway; you can pay them later when you're rich.

Send some to me too ;)
