Interesting question, though immature. Depends on if you're the employer or the babysat.
Several answers indicate a belief that firing a live-in employee is easy. Fine, fire her, she still lives at your house, and kicking her out is not easy. Don't pay her, she still lives at your house, plus files a suit for non-payment for services rendered. Try to make her quit, and you could be looking at harassment charges. Unless you're a dependent.
Another interesting thought. Is this housekeeper/babysitter your mother? Hmmmm.

Well, I get the impression that you're a kid, seeing as how immature this question is. So I gather you don't have the power to fire her.
So, here's what I suggest. Talk with your parents. Tell them exactly how you feel and why. Tell them you have been planning to do things to get rid of her but after thinking about it properly, you don't think that's a good idea, since it could ruin the lady's life and you don't want to do that.
Why do you hate her??? What has she done that's so bad you want her out? If she's that bad, then your parents will understand and make her leave... If not, then perhaps you are just a spoiled child that's not getting what they want...

First of all - are you in a position to fire her or are you just a child? If you are in a position to fire her - tell her that the arrangement is no longer working for you and that you will no longer be needing her services. If you are child in her charge - tell your parents that you don't like her and leave it to them. Without sound examples of why you HATE her and the fact that you want to "do some stuff" to make her quit, my guess is that you are a child in her care. Your parents are going to be better judges of the entire situation and necessary action than anyone on here.

Your negative feelings for your housekeeper is not healthy anymore. Both of you are suffering from the present arrangement. I guess, she can feel your animosity towards her. There is no use keeping her if you are not satisfied with her service. Be straightforward and maintain professionalism at all times. Tell her that you don't need her service anymore but be fair with her and give your reasons for doing so.

Quit? Thats never fun. Take some of your parents expensive jewelry or something and put it in your housekeeper's room, like in her clothes. When your parents find it missing, tell your parents that the housekeeper has been looking kinda shady lately. They will search her room and find the jewelry there. BAM! Fired.
Of course, that only works in the movies.
You want to get her to quit? Take a dump on her pillows and pee in her shoes. If she doesnt quit after that, she'll never quit.

sounds like it's your parents housekeeper!
if you really can't stand her speak to your parents and tell them why, maybe they'll agree with you, or if that doesn't work you could always leave home!

wow! whose house is this? HERS or yours?
let her know you don't need her services anymore, and give her two weeks to get things together and finish up her employment there.
looks like she has a lot of control over you... she's your EMPLOYEE not your keeper!
yikes.. get a grip
