My girlfriend, and I were together since 4th grade. We are now in 7th and she cheated on me. my friend caught her and she told me. My gf did not know that my other friend had seen her, so I planned a surprise show up. When I showed up, I dumped her. I have a new gf and my ex will not leave me alone. She keeps begging me to take her back. She RUINED MY FIRST DATE WITH MY NEW GF. She got a new bf, and I was so relieved. But he dumped her for I don't know what reason. Does anyone know what I should say to her to get her off of my back for good?

One of my best friend's parents are crazy. He is 26 years old and has no social life at all! why? because his parents always make him stay home and help them with every single thing like cooking, cleaning and all that stuff. Last time I saw him was about a month ago. He is always staying home with his parents and helping them. He lives in their home by the way. yes it may be sad to live with your parents at age 26 but hes a great friend. My question is, How can I help him? he wants to stand up to his parents and tell them to give him some personal time, but they say "our house, our rules" He wants to move out but he can't afford it since he's still in college. How can I help him? I don't want to get too much into their family life but I just want him to have a normal life. He never even had a girlfriend in his life!. when i go out places, i see all these hot guys my own age and i cant get up courage to talk to them at all. i see them looking at me, but they dont come over either. i am a flirt at my school because i am comfortable there. (for background, im a white girl with a skater/punk look at a city school where there is 12% white kids) the guys i see are from the suburbs and i dont know how to get comfortable talking to them. even living with some of them at a program at a local college, i still couldnt talk to them. is there anything i can do to get up courage to talk to them or get them to come over to me?

Been dating or seeing this guy for a little more than a month. He seems into me but the other night said he didn't want me to stay the night bcause he wants to take things slow. He says in all his other relationships he's always JUMPED right in and been hurt. He calls when he says he will, he cooks me dinner, he holds my hand when we cuddle and always kisses me passionately. I can't believe this, my significant other told me he was going to visit his parents in another state, for about three weeks.
I went out last night and I seen him wearing some glasses and a wanna be cool hat sitting in the front seat of a beat up car that my friend use to have, I noticed him and drove around the street to meet him on the other side to get a better look. Well, for sure that was him and now he doesn't realize what this does to my trust for him and what my final decision will be, because of his deciet... I don't wonder anymore because I see his ways and slowly but surely I am drifting away from him, my question is why don't guys realize what they got until its gone? Why do guys feel women won't give up on them? Why do guys think you'll get over it?..I mean I'll never use or hate guys because of what I go thru but...I can't figure this out...

I'm absolutely miserable. I still love him, but miserable. We get along, so the kids dont see drama. He's a great dad (lousy husband...cheater, once that I know of) Since his affair he is trying to fix it and make it up to me, but I hate him becuase of that, or maybe its that i hate what he did to me, either way, i dont look at him in the same way i used to. taht innocence in our marriage is gone. because he made me live a lie for 6 months while he was doing what he was doing, i lost that 'something special' i had for him, somethin is definately gone now. so, i consider a divorce, and then i look at my kids and my heart breaks for them. can i really do that to them? I have 9 more years til my youngest is 18, and i'll only be 40. is it that unusual for people to stay for the kids sake? is it that bad that you make sacrifices for your kids, even if it means your unhappines?

We were married for 4 years, and there was always verbal or physical abuse. He says hes changed and wants us to get back together. I am still scared and dont know what to do. I dont want our kids learning that its ok to do that. Since we are appart I am trying to improve my life by going to school to get my degree. What do i do? Ok this girl i started talking to (we were friends before and we recently both found out we like each other) and she just called me and im not a very good talker on the phone..so i dont really talk much, cuz like i said im not really a 'phone person'...so after a little while of talking (lets just say about 30 minutes), she said she had to go and she said she would "TRY and call me later...later later" those were her words she said. so now im thinking she already dont like me now. either that or she thinks i dont like her...idk. this just sucks. a really crappy feeling...

I'm 17, my parents and sister (she's 10) want to go on vacation nxt week (from about Wednesday-Sunday). We normally go to TN b/c my sister loves Dollywood. I was miserable last year bc I didn't do anything there. The main thing is riding rides, but I won't ride them by myself, so I just had to follow my family around and go on little kid rides with my sister. My sister wants to go back, but I know I'd be miserable again. My dad keeps yelling at me whenever we talk about vacation. Last night he was like, "What's wrong with you? Why can't you go anywhere? Where do YOU want to go? Besides where do you think your going to stay if you don't go? With nana & pop? Bc you're not staying home alone, and sure as hell not staying @ Phillip's (my boyfriend) house!" To be honest I don't really want to go anywhere, but I'm not staying w/ my grandparents. They live right around the block so it seems dumb to lug all my clothes and all over there, and it would just be weird staying there. Advice?

I am 17 yrs old and am 26wks pregnant.My boyfriend was great until when I was about 14 wks and we kind of took a break from each other for a while.We are still good friends but I am not sure if I would ever want to spend the rest of my life with him and marry him.I am excited about the baby and so is he but I don't think we will ever get married down the road.In college I want to date and someday hopefully get married.My family and my friends have told me several times that no guy will ever want to date a woman that already has a kid.When I go to college my baby will already be about 13 months old.

I've tried to warn people that I'm evil. I've never really felt those emotions that people refer to as "sympathy," "compassion," or "guilt."

But everyone thinks I'm joking or exaggerating. I'M NOT.

It gets awkward when situations arise when real emotion seems required. Like when someone is sick or going through something difficult. They get emotional. They still expect me to care (despite the warnings that I’m evil!).

Emotional people make me really uncomfortable. I just sort of stare at them and don’t know what to do.

So, should I try to make my friends understand that I’m not the one to call in a crisis, or is there some way to force myself to be more compassionate?

ok..I hav this friend who i shall name"emma"....she has a seroius problem..i mean every time i like a boy she starts liking the same boy..half the time i dont care but this past march...i was reduced to tears for months cause...
i'll name the guy "andrew"..ok i was really good freinds w/ andrew and we used to talk on the phone and everything..so he was knida like my first love and all..but he had a crush on emma...and emma had promised me she didnt like andrew...but being the b**** she is..she lied...but the problem was i knew since october that she lied andrew..and then i confronted her in march and she got all scared..i mean she thinks she is a good lier and all but i see rite through her... so then in march when andrew told me..it was the WORST experince ever!!!!!! i felt like half of my life was over...and the thing is i told andrew i knew who liked him..then i hanged up the phone..the next day i acted all normal and all the that nte i told andrew it was me who liked him..kinda...
