Ok this girl i started talking to (we were friends before and we recently both found out we like each other) and she just called me and im not a very good talker on the phone..so i dont really talk much, cuz like i said im not really a 'phone person'...so after a little while of talking (lets just say about 30 minutes), she said she had to go and she said she would "TRY and call me later...later later" those were her words she said. so now im thinking she already dont like me now. either that or she thinks i dont like her...idk. this just sucks. a really crappy feeling...

you should call her and when you do try slipping in the conversation that you re not a phone person and mention that you dont say much and how you rather talk in person, she will and trust me, she will scheduled a meeting to see if your lying so i suggest you think of something to say and try stay away from gossiping she'll think that you will go spreading what happened between the two of you, so good luck the the phone conversation.

Yea if I were the girl I'd be a little freaked out that you didn't talk that much. She probably thinks you don't like her. Don't call her obviously you don't like talking on the phone so I don't think that will work. Maybe you can text her to tell her about how you don't like talking on the phone and talk with her in person instead. Maybe go out to dinner tonight. Good luck

Call her up and ask her out. Go somewhere interesting so that you have something to talk about. Sitting on a phone listening to each other breathe for 30 minutes isn't going to get you anywhere and is certainly not going to impress.

You could call her and tell her you aren't really comfortable talking over the phone and that you hope she doesn't think you don't like her, that you are a much better conversationalist in person, and suggest you get together somewhere, where you can just talk, like the park or beach if you have one close....

ask her if she wants to go out to grab a bite to eat or to check out a movie.....just let her know that you are sorry for not being really talkative on the phone, but you would rather talk face to face b/c a phone is so....impersonal. that you would rather look a person in the eyes when talking to them then somehow get distracted while on a phone. you have to make sure she knows that you enjoyed talking to her and that you have been thinking about her and that's when you ask her if she would like to go grab a bite to eat or something. good luck!!!

Just give her a call tonight to chat. You don't have to bring up the last conversation, like "hey, why didn't you call me back"

Or say, Hey, sorry we didn't get to talk more last night.. you want to meet me at (wherever) to hang out? That way you can talk to her and it's not on the phone.

You're over-analyzing this entire situation. Get off of the computer, call her up and just ask her what's on her mind today, then just listen....throw in any relevant comments that may come to mind, and when you truly run out of stuff to say, tell her a pleasant goodbye and hang up. You'll be fine.

Relax, women are fickle. It will work out unless she is really that concerned about one phone call. Try emailing her or something and explain you just arent a talker on the phone.

i say call her. don't worry about a thing.. she'll be happy you called. because you like her and she likes you. so tehre shouldn't be any problems. and if your looking for soemthing to talk about and you want to get closer to her ask questions you wonder about her.. (just not to personal)
i remember that feeling.. and trust me once you in a relationship with her. things are gonna change. but a good feeling. with mix of bad. its good to know that youw ere friends before hand though. because you kinda know each other already. its not awkward .. or as awkward.
"its only awkward if you make it awkward"
"its only a problem if you make it a problem"
you know?

Just tell her that you aren't good on the phone. She isn't going to care. Call her or text her if you want to and explain it. I'm sure she doesn't mind though.
