What the best way to meet new people in college.

I had this teacher when i was in the 7th grade. But when i saw him when i was 18 we ended up having a fling. It seems wrong but then again i was 18 so i really did nothing wrong. Any advice to answer my question

i posted a question about peer pressure..but i'm not really getting the answers i expected...well my problem was with my boyfriend being tempted to do stuff with me that i don't want to do/don't feel comfortable doing...i'm not a normal teen. i don't really care about sex or anything like that. but i told him that if it really meant that much to him then i would meet him 1/2 way. well my question is...was that a wise decision. and what would be a decent 1/2 way. (i'm not going to give him a ******** or have sex with him or anything like that...that's something i DONT want to do)

I don't know where to start, but every day, I feel angry. I truly WANT to be happy so badly, but I don't know how. My entire life, I've lived in an environment where anger was a normal part of life. My parents were very bitter and unloving, so I don't know how to "love myself." I have been with my girlfriend for about one year, and I'm good to her, but sometimes, I act mean for no reason. I take things too seriously (i.e. myself, my looks, my work, school). I find it hard to see the lighter side of life, and I hate myself for it. Sometimes, I feel like I need to just run away and start over, but I've tried that before, and it did nothing for me. All in all, I'm just not a resilient person. How can I teach myself to become resilient to life's circumstances? There are so many other people on this earth that have it much worse than me, but I fail to recognize that. I just want happiness. Is that too much to ask? Advice?

...some cute animated cats (NOT fine art) so she would always have it preserved for posterity. We were on a tight budget, and agreed to spend no more than $100 dollars on the frame...
I waited in the car (foolish mistake) and when she walked out, she had spent $400 on the frame...
I wasn't mad...just mildly irritated, and was willing to let it go...but then she got "angry" at my "mild irritation" and then I got "angry" at her "anger..."
We argued that night, and ended up breaking up a week later...
I know I shouldn't have been even "mildly irritated," because of what that led to...
But wasn't that kinda' "not right" on her part to spend $400 on a frame for a poster of animated cats?!?

I went to visit my Grandma yesterday, and I somehow just KNEW: she doesnt have long. She is severely diabetic, and has liver and kidney damage as well (among a list of other ailments). She is the sweetest, most upbeat person in spite of it all. She has been the biggest inspiration to me since I was little, and I love her dearly.

What are some things I can do before she goes? Things that will help me remember her when she is gone. Things that we can have fun doing too. Remember, she cant see, so she cant write, etc..... And she is very frail, so I cant take her places. The other problem is that I live 2 hours away from her now.

My wife took off her wedding ring over 3 weeks ago and told me that she is getting a divorce. We would have been married two years on August 28th. For the entire marriage her younger sister lived with us. This caused problems between my wife and I and also caused me depression. It got to the point that I would tell my wife that I would divorce her and I would drink all the time to get out of the house. She went home to see her family July 4th, right after a huge fight. I did not call her the whole week she was gone. She came back acted 180 degrees different. I tried my hardest, but I couldnt get over the fact that she couldnt put 100% into the relationship. I have been a mess for the past 3 weeks. I constanly tell her I love her and I am going to counseling for myself to clear up who I am. I ask her to go to counseling with me, but she tells me it is too late. We still have been living together and she wants me to move out. Why should I move when she is leaving me?

From the day my wife met my parents she thought my parents were rude to her and no matter what she did it was unappreciated. Her folks do well, so my parents never bothered to offer to help with anything. My mom said she'd throw my wife a baby shower but then asked her to pay for it. After baby was born, parents insisted on seeing baby every weekend and my wife said no and said they can come during the week. They never buy or do anything nice for the baby. Eventually I sent a letter to my parents explaining how we feel, they ignored it. My wife and mom got in a yelling match on the phone and my folks cancelled Mother's Day and ignored my wife on Father's Day and bad-mouthed by wife to other family members. It all blew up when emails were sent from wife, my sister and then me. My wife now wants nothing to do with my family and my family who I've never stood up to feel I just do what my wife says. My sister has always wanted a girl and is extremely jealous of my daughter. What do I do?

hi, my husband lost his job a week ago today. he has not even looked for a job. it seems that every time i come home for my lunch he is still sleeping. he goes out late every night, and then he sleeps all day. i know it has only been a week, but damn we have bills to pay! it seems that i am looking for the job for him, i go on monster.com and post his resume to all the companies that are suitable for his lazy a$$. is he just being a lazy lump?

My fiance and I are planning a wedding. We are definitely going on a cruise for our honeymoon. But, we are on a very tight budget for the ceremony and reception. We have a one year old son, and it is hard to spend so much on everything.

Is it ok to just have everyone come to the wedding ceremony, and that's all? We also thought about having just immediate family and wedding party going to a nice restaurant afterwards. But, we couldn't afford all 70 or so people to go. Is that wrong to do? Or should I just invite as many people as we can afford to go out with us afterwards?

Any advise would be great!
