Do all or most women need constant re-assurance that their man loves them even if he's completely faithful to her, does those little things to brighten her day and even says, "I love you" on an almost daily basis?

We've been married 3 1/2 years and she still finds it necessary to ask me. When I ask her why, she always says that all women ask this and want to know. Tonight, instead she asked that I say something nice to her.

I answer that I think she's a kind person hoping it would be enough but no, she wants to know the reasons why I think she's like this. I question her need for asking these things and again she says that all women need to hear these things but I don't buy it.

So is this true and up until now every other woman I've been with has been a freak of nature and never needed this kind of reassurance, or is she just being insecure?

I recently moved to a new community, soon after divorce. My situation was talked about and alot of people have this "they should take care of me" feeling.. I have made it clear (as clear as I can) that I am not interested in dating right now (at least in my community as that causes obvious problems).. As soon as I moved here, I was warned repeatedly to stay clear of a neighbor as he is known as a "drug lord" that can't be caught and I have heard his drunken rages next door.

I have steered clear - and do not talk. Once he came over and I just clearly told him to go home. Then, he began leaving vegetables and fruit from his garden on my porch. Yet, again, I have had this happen with other people who all assume a single mother must need help (I actually do okay)... so, I didn't respond.

Today, he brought more and left a note: " Don't freak out, I have no relationship with ____ ( a girl from our community) or any woman, you don't have to speak, if you don't want to, I just...

It is hard to find a man these days with both, but if one would allow for a stronger marraige, with one would be more important ? I know both are needed, but Choosing only one, a man with a great character, that may be lacking as a good financial provider, or a man that is financially stable, and a good provider, but lacking in the personality department ??

I know this might sound biased but i don't really care cos i still don't think it's fair, What do you think?

I am the oldest child of 2, there is an age gap of four years. We are having the attic converted and my brother is getting the room, it sucks. I've wanted the attic room since I was 6 yrs old (that's 8 years) and my brother's never been bothered. I even had to have my room made smaller so my brother had a bigger room. I hate being the older child =[ Why can't I be the only child I'm so upset.

I've read with increasing frequency about people who profess to be "in love" with someone with whom they have carried on a "relationship" by ONLY electronic means (no face-to-face contact). Could you marry under these circumstances? Have you? How's that working out for you?

Ok I have a friend that was my past college teacher and I told her in an email that I hope we stay friends for a long time. She is older than me and I look up to her. Well in her reply email... she didn't mention anything about it... so is that ok .. or if you were her, would you say i hope we do too? I guess what I said was a statement and not a question but still. And I also offered her help with her new baby and she didnt say anything back about that either.. Does that mean she doesn't want these things or that there is no need to reply to that? And we have been friends for a couple of months through email but have done stuff together like gone to lunch and the other day she invited me over to see her baby... which I have also gave her baby a gift before... those are just some extra details. Oh yea and she said she is going to play a spot that we both enjoy and said shes excited to play and is going to get cleared from her doctor b/c she just had a baby.

These are usually the same people who complain that they can't afford to save for retirement, pay for their house/cars, pay bills, have no free-time, no vacations etc etc? Fill their lives with so much unnessary BS that you don't even need!!!

For example:

I was at Publix the other day (grocery store chain in the Southeast US) and this lady with four kids said to the cashier (typical woman to woman chit-chat), "I don't understand why our lives is so difficult. Me make a good income but we have no disposable income and constantly stressed out." Well she left and the cashier told me when I walked up and she said," I can't believe that lady has four kids and has the NERVES to wonder why her life is the way it is." I simply told she has more common sense then most Americans (this being a low-piad cashier mind you again).

Are some people so eager to conform to society's ways that they don't get care what the consequences are almost like being in an opium-induced state?????

I'm 25, she's 18. Met her at a party and realized we were both members of the same church youth group. Been going out with her since but our friends have a negative opinion. They say the age difference is too much but I think to myself, "here's someone who fits every personality criteria I have. It's stupid not to see that". It's not like she's after the money I dont have or I'm taking advantage of her. Why then do people criticize?
I'm about to confront them but I need to know some reasons why they do it.

Please, don't give me rude answers. I know what I did may be considered mean but I can't go back in time and reverse it. I'm a stupid kid and I don't think over everything I plan. It's really hard for me to trust guys and 3/4 of my boyfriend's friends are girls. He's told me he would never cheat on me no matter what but it was hard for me to believe because my friend said he had flirted with her. So, my other friend came up with a great idea(didn't turn out so great) to have my friend that my boyfriend had flirted with flirt back. She did and she started asking him questions. She asked and I will use fake names except I'll use my middle "If May would never find out would you go to the movies with me, like on a date." He thought about it for a minute and answered yes. Then she asked if he would tell me and he said no because I had already been worried he would cheat on me. My friend Cristine said they wouldn't be boyfriend and girlfriend it would just be a date so he said yeah to going

I have been married six months... my husband is in the military and on a carrier right now. I love him and miss him very much - I DO NOT cheat! Anyhow, I have had two dreams recently involving me kissing other men. In one dream I knew the guy, but am not attracted to him and in the other dream it was someone I dont know. It never goes beyond kissing. After the first dream I blew it off but now, a week later, I have a similiar dream. What does this mean? Is it just because I am lonely while he is away? There is no other man in my life or that I'm wanting to be in my life. I'm just not used to dreaming about other guys that way. Usually if it's a sex or sexually-related dream it involves my husband. Your thoughts??

Women generally are known for being indecisive, why ? They can change their mind Every 5 minutes ! Why do they love to "test" you to see if you say or do the right thing ? Than either way everything is ok once you give them a mind shuddering orgasm ! Than your the best man in the world, when the night before you were apparently not "the one" ?

I see that some people say: "You can't trust a man who does't drink"
My grandmother said to her daughters, "Never marry a man who does not drink".
Is it grounded these statements? By the way I am not talking about Islam in this case.
