Okay guys..im going out with this guy who is 20 and im 17!! He is really good looking and all that and knows how to respect girls. The thing is im still young and i like to have fun. While he is totally mature and aware of everything. I kind of find him boring. I like bad boys you see..and hes nothing like that but hes got that bad boy look. I really dont know what to do ..hes too mature for me ..and alwayz talks about big things..and also wants this relationship to be serious. I realli dont know what to do ..and its only been some weeks i've been seeing him. how do i make him loosen up a bit? How do i make him have a little fun without being too self aware..(example when driving) lol he gets scared to drive fast !! Argh . I dono how im going to work this relationship out!! I just want him to enjoy life ..i dont want him to be so freeking serious 24/7/ How do i do this???? help me plzzzzzzzxx

think about it...he may just think that he needs to impress you with his 'maturity' and might not really be that serious about things. loosen up, let him know that a little fun (or a lot of it) is quite all right. neither of you is really old enough to be taking things too seriously. but then again you might have to think whether you really do want to stay on in this relationship and make adjustments. if he does loosen up you might find him a lot less boring but make sure that you are dating him for the guy he is and not for the guy you think he ought to be. in case you are not really compatible then just try and get out of this relationship now and go find your ideal guy and while you are at it , have fun...like you said, you are still young.

You think he is boring cause he doesnt drive fast? What you dont read the news where teenagers cause accedents because they dont know how to drive except fast and reckeless? And like you said he is mature and you are not. your only 17 nothing wrong with being immature at your age. You cant change him if you want a reckless b/f stop seeing him and go find a bad boy. but believe me years later down the road you will wish you had him back lol good luck to ya

It's still early on, so don't feel bad about it. You're just not feeling it and that's okay. Tell him you're busy and you're just not feeling it, and that you hope you can still be friends. There are other guys who will treat you good that you will also enjoy being around an have more of a connection with.

Well it seems like you got a huge situation on your hands. But maybe you should sit down and explain to him how you really feel, and tell him that theres nothing wrong with letting go a little bit to enjoy life because life's to short. I had a situation kinda similar to yours and the best thing to do is to talk it out with him and be honest without hurting his feelings.

if your bored move on, your 17 your relationship with this guy is based on his looks. that shows me your maturity level. you've got to get to know somebody and accept them for the way they are. and you two are completely different people so go find yourself a badboy. cause believe me there are many girls out there that would have a relationship with this guy.

dump him, he cant be changed, well not for a long period anyway, if you are young then why spend your one childhood with the wrong guy, because when you are older you dont want to be looking back and wishing that you spent your childhood as an adult and wishing that you had lived as a childhood, coz you wont be able to turn back the clock.
My mum spent 20 years with a guy like yours, she regrets every second, and she will never get them back

Sounds like the kind of guy who respects your safety- and is willing to be careful- the kind of boy you can take home to mom and dad.
Don't ask him to losen up, if you don't like who he is, don't expect to be able to change him.
If you aren't happy then move on. We ladies often spend a lifetime trying to change someone and in the end, everyone is miserable.

well, we need to trade cause that's exactly what i wanted ,but its to late I'm in it to the end,so if that's not the type of man you want then let him go and please don't try and change him in the process cause there is a lot of grown up girls looking for a real mature man.
