No. It's a good way to meet people but it needs to move into a face to face first for a long period of time to truly get to know the person first. Could be an ax-murderer who cuddled up to me only to get close enough to hack my head off....lol.

Naaaah! Love is like an erecting a building which requires a lot intrinsict planning and study to make sure the product will be the same as planned.
That's a building. What more if you're trying to build a relationship which involves your future, dream and the rest of your life.
Don't you think that is more complicated?
You have to know him first personally. Meaning like he is standing right there in front of you.
Don't rush it's your life.

Of course not. You don't know that other person at all if you haven't met them in person. You may think you are chatting with a 25 year old woman and it may really be a 60 year old man having fun with you. It is very unlikely it would work out anyway. The internet is usually not for real.

I would. I have met my boyfriend via the internet, we chatted and we became a couple, after a year we decided to meet each other in real life, and he is even better in real life than he is online. I can imagine that people marry this person, cause I wouldnt doubt marrying my boyfriend if we were a bit older. If you know the person and you love him or her, have met the person in real life, meeting someone over the internet isn't different to meeting someone for the first time in real life.

I personally could not marry after dating that way. I don't feel like you get to know the real person if you haven't met face to face. Behind a computer monitor or telephone you can be whoever you want to be and not have to be the real you. I wouldn't trust that I was getting the same person and would have to take time to get to know someone in person.

My wife & I met through a Yahoo Group and communicated by email & phone before I flew halfway cross country to meet her face to face. That worked out very well, we've been together 2 1/2 years now.

No, this is a very risky thing.
You do not know these people. It is easy to make up stories about themselves or how they look over the internet. For all you know they can be criminals.
If you are going to marry somebody, it is best if you get to know them... face to face. You will know who they truly are if you have spent time with them.

I think until some considerable amount of time has been spent with the people in the same physical location.......until that happens people are in love with the concept of being in love.
Email, im, and even webcam chat is not the same as spending hours and hours and days and months and years getting to know the REAL PERSON.

No way. What a person says in emails and such can be very misrepresentatinve of what they are really like in real life. Contact by computer-only methods are chancy and I think still require fac-to-face meetings and real dating to really get to know someone.

Yes..I have lots of friends who end up with each other & i can say that it really works. Living proof is my half-sis...she have been with this guy for almost three years & she is still in love with him..Cam works & mobile too...Its not a matter of how long you have been with any guy or gal but the quality time you've made & the unconditional love you've shared..Strange but true..
