my ex left me 4 weeks ago after 6 years he is living with his suppo. to be lesbian co-worker and her girlfriend, but i know her girlfriend doesn't live there anymore! he is lying about being in love with his co-worker but i know them two are having sex. he called me today while at work (because he can't talk when he is at home or with her) telling me he might come back maybe this weekend ( i,like a fool would actually want him back, i am heartbroken and still in love with him)
why he keep calling me and should i take him back?
i am in my late 40's he is 42 i feel like my live is ending and i am on a f...emotional rollercoaster.

ok, this is what happened. she invited me over to her house on one of the last days she'd be in town. just to hang out and stuff. but she invited over her 18 year old "boyfriend" over that night (we were 12 when this happened) to have some fun. i wasnt comfortable with this at all and i begged her to call him to not come. she said i was a being a baby and that he was nice. so i gave in. he came through the basement window, while she was in the shower. turned out he wasnt nice at all. i was pretty scared of him so i hid under a desk while they were lying on the mattres together. i peeked out to see what they were doing and it scared the crap out of me when i saw it. he was...well, doing things he could go to jail for. he saw me looking and got up and took a knife out of his pocket and held it near my face, giving me a weird look. i was so terrified. now that its been a few years later, iv still never told any authoirty like her dad or my parents. i kno i should but i cant! what do i do

I'm in my 20s and it seems like the majority of women are desperate to get married. I have 2 friends that are happily married, and literally 6 friends that are miserable. I'm not against marriage, but why in this day and age are a lot of women still pressuring themselves to get married as soon as they can? You have a better chance of getting divorced than staying married, studies show that majority of men and women are unfaithful at some point in the marriage, and there are a ton of unhappy people in marriages. Is it societal pressure, fear of being alone, what?

My aunt lives with my parents and me. Ever since she's moved here in 2003, she's always saying negative things about me such as "You have fat thighs", "When you were little, you were beautiful..what happened?", "You have small breasts", etc. It gets on my nerves. I let my mom know about this many times and my mom has spoken with her, but she still does this. I always help my mom take care of my aunt and never get anything nice in return. I have always gone by the saying, "treat others as you would like to be treated." i've treated her nicely, shouldn't she treat me the same? Yesterday was the worst, she kept on complimenting my brother who visited. He doesn't help her out like I do. And she kept saying, "Oh, your brother is so handsome.", "Your brother will have really beautiful children", "Your brother is so sweet." I was so mad, tears started running down my cheeks. My mom told me later that I shouldn't cry because that was my aunt's goal.

So, what should I do?

Me and my friend were walking to the bus bays at school and he walked past and saw us. As he walked past, my friend saw him and tried to pull me away, and he said hi to me in a really nice way and he was a bit flirty with me. He totally ignored my friend but she wasn't bothered. I wasn't able to spend my boyfriend's brithday with him. But when we get back I am making it up to him. (I kno were not married but I feel like i get more serious/mature answers when I post here) I'm making him breakfast in bed, decorating his apt, making him dinner, and a birthday cake. But I need help because I don't know what to do during the day.. between breakfast and our candle lit dinner lol. I dont want anytime to go by that we aren't doing something. One problem though I am COMPLETELY BROKE =( I have no idea what to do for a present or what to do for the day. I really want him to have an amazing day because his actual brithday wasn't a good one for him. Please help me everyone.. This is really bothering me, I don't want to let him down =( I mean he'd be happy with whatever I came up with.. but I just want it to be a birthday he will remember.. he hasn't really had a good one before. Thanks for whoever helps me :) By the way he is 21 and doesn't drink.

I got into a fight with my husband who ran out completely wasted. He left in his truck. I warned him not to drive and that I would call the police so he didn't kill himself or others. I have a baby to worry about and could not live with myself if he killed a child. I called the police. They got him for a DUI. I later bailed him out and am completely okay with us having to pay the fines and live without him having a license for a year. He said he forgives me, but I can't help but wonder if I made a mistake??????

This would help with future crime investigations (murder, rape, etc.). And also help to ensure that the father is trully the biological father right away, instead of having to waste his time and money on a child who isn't his and a mother who is a worthless piece of scum.

When I was 19, I got involved with a man who was 36 (yes, he was married then). I loved him, but after about 3 months together, I broke things off. Still, over the next 3 years we hooked up with each other about once every couple of months. Sometimes more, sometimes less. We talked and laughed and loved. I was crazy about him and he was about me. I knew he could never leave his wife for me and I never asked him to. I always settled for what part of him I could get. When I was 22, I got married. This ended us for about 5 years. Then, we met up with each other again. I realized then that I still loved him very much. But, I had made a committment to my husband and I honored that committment. My problem is that I still love this other man. I think about him every day. I miss him so much sometimes that it breaks my heart. He called a couple of months ago and said he still loved me too. It's not about sex. We haven't had sex in 8 years. How do I get over him and move on with my life?

He never wants to go anywhere on a weekend he would rather sit on the computer or play his guitar.
If we go out he only wants to go to the local pub, I like the theatre, concerts, eating out if fact anything other than the local.
Any ideas how to get him to be more sociable as I am at the end of my tether with him

So I went to this strip club, and it turned out one of the dancers was my ex-wife's cousins daughter. Small world, huh? Well I didn't want to let any of the guys I was with know that I was related to her so I just ignored her, and she ignored me. But should I have left? If it had been a topless club it might not have bothered me, but this was nude, and I felt a little creepy.
