I was thinking of eloping with my fiance since we don't have the money to get married since I was duped out of the lump sum of money I was supposed to get. Our parents offered to pay for the wedding but they disagreed about the plans so we decided not to take their money. I really want a wedding but I can't really afford. We were planning on getting married next July but I know in order to have a good wedding you have to plan way in advanced. I'm not sure how romantic eloping is. I was hoping to have a wedding with the colors, bridesmaids, cakes and champagne and danceing but I can't afford it. so is eloping the solution?

met at guy recently and he called to my house for a chat and asked if we could go out. He said he would be proud to have me as a girlfriend and that he really liked me ... quote "I would be proud to hold your hand walking down the street" however he was already engaged. Are most men compulsive liars. I had said to him that i liked him but please be up front with as i dont like dishonesty ........... he still is texting me but i ignore him should it tell his new wife?

11. my husband has always expressed the desire to travel and has always wanted to go to Alaska. he has had his own business for 17 years but done other things also as he gets bored with jobs easy and then does something else for a while only to realize how good he actually has it with his own business. he has been saying for years now that he cant wait for the kids to get grown up so we can travel. actually he has been counting down the years...so anyway a couple days ago, he informed me that he was gonna apply to the Alaska State Trooper Academy..He just expects us to up and move. our daughter will just be getting ready to go into her sr. year of highschool at the time we would be going and im not gonna uproot her so i tell him that i guess if he wants to do that to go ahead cause im tired of hearing about this all the time...but me and the kids wouldn't be going and he informed me that our 11 year old son would because he wants to and our son agreed. i think he is being selfish,help

We just found the perfect house and our wedding is being planned for June 14, 2008. We need a little extra to put down on the house and I am thinking of using our wedding money and just going to the court house to get married. I am not really a sentimental person but I do not know if I might one day regret not having our wedding. But let me stress that we REALLY want this house. Should we blow off the wedding and buy the house (and get married now at the Justice of the Peace) or continue with our wedding plans?

If you did something similar, do you regret it? Would you do something different?

I am getting married soon....and I am appalled at the price of wedding photographers. My husband and I are both attorneys (i.e. make good salaries), but have no desire to spend thousands of dollars on a photographer! We just want photos to keep the memories, nothing fancy. We are having a small American style ceremony followed by a Chinese style banquet (I am Caucasian) and he is Chinese. We have kept the other costs very low while still planning a classy gathering (small guest list, the chinese banquet is quite inexpensive, etc). What have other savvy brides to be done to avoid these outrageous costs? (so far, the entire bill is coming up to about only $10500.) I considered having a friend who is an amateur photographer serve as our wedding photographer, which he offered to do for free, but I will probably pay him $250 anyways. I didn't know if this was a good idea...has anyone else done it? (we are in los angeles and getting married in santa barbara)

My friend and sister get along great and I am happy about that but when we go swimming a topic comes up that makes me so angry. Yesterday they were saying that i need to run with them and not walk. I can understand that but when i run i get these horrible pains and almost passed out one time. They are saying that if I run more then the pains will go away but they won't! I tried it before they said that and it just hurts more Doesn't that make sense? If I want to run I will I do not need their input. And just a few minutes ago we were swimming and they were ganging up on me about the clenliness of my room. It is fine for me but they are saying "You stuff everything under your bed"

He says its stress, or that he's tired - he says its not me, but it's impossible not to take it personally. How normal is it for a guy his age to have absolutely no interest in sex? It's not that I'm a nymphomaniac or anything, but we're past the two week mark, and I'm beginning to wonder if stress can really be the only thing thats influencing his actions.... or lack there of. I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

This is a messy story,it begins with me dating my brothers best friend for a few years,then I catch him cheating on me so i leave him.Shortly after I run into a mutual friend of both my x and my brother,he is sweet and he understands my sorrow,he takes me home that night and holds me till i sleep,i really liked him,he really liked me but at the time my x really wanted me back and it was such a messy time.a year went by and I called this guy(that held me)and told him how i felt,he said he had no idea and the feeling is mutual but he started seeing someone,he said he wished he had known and that he thinks im the most beautiful girl alive.so here i am 9 months after that phone call still thinking of him and that night he held me,but it appears he has moved on? should I? or hope one day he comes to me?

I was out one night at the bar got drunk and got a ride home from a friend one of my bosses took my truck home for me but before he could my ex spotted my truck went up to the truck asked where i was and started a fight with my boss. Now im in some trouble with my boss and he isnt allowed anywhere near the bars that i work at? What am i supposed to do? We had just broken up about 2 1/2 weeks ago. My best friend died when he (her son) was very young, and I want to keep her memory alive for him I want to send a questioner to all her family members to obtain the answers to questions about her and what they remember about her, like her simle what she liked and disliked ect. Then make him a scrap book for Christmas.
