Once all 3 of them found out that i was getting married they all laid claim to the Maid of Honor title. This is my second wedding so i'm not wanting to have it big I only want one attendant but i dont know who to choose and I also dont want to hurt the other 2s feelings. If anyone has any suggestions Please Please Please Help!!!!

OK, so I love this guy that I know to death (and I mean that literally...since I really would die for him). The problem is, I don't know if he likes me back or not.
He's funny, smart, honest, straightforward, charming, kind, friendly, and hot. (Please don't say "You're just in lust." Maybe it's possible that I'm in love AND lust.)
So basically...if he knew a girl (me) who was independent, loyal, nice to everyone, smart, and had a good sense of humor--would he like her?
Please don't just tell me that I should ask him who he likes. Let's look at the possible attractions before we jump ahead to that, shall we?
P.S. In case there are any self-proclaimed "psychics" out there, he's an Aries and I'm a Scorpio. I know that was random, but I'll take any encouragement--in any form--that I can get.

I mean, seems like a no brainer to realize that there is no such thing. You can't TRULY love someone that you don't know. Lust at first sight, sure. but not love. Its obvious that the word itself has become so misconstrued, just by hearing how people talk about celebrities, or princess di, for example. Oh, I love her/him sooo much! No you don't, you don't even know them, get a life. You can admire/respect someone you don't know, but you cannot love them. It's not the definition of the word. So , all this being said.....love at first sight?! come on.

I've been trapped in the house for days since I don't have a car or license and my mom works long hours so she just comes home and crashes my aunt is staying with us and she goes with my mom to work so I'm stuck here all day with my brother and cousins... I can't go anywhere with friends because...for some strange reason... my mom doesn't want me going out when she's not home... but my brother doesn't even ask and he goes out... so anyways the other day I fell asleep after being trapped in the house for 2 days straight for about 3 hours because I was bored out of my mind... when I wake up my mom and aunt are home... I walk past my aunt towards the bathroom and she says something like "nice" sarcastically I can't quite remember but it was something really bitchy. Then my cousins are all being jerks about it and saying stuff... now today my mom made it a specific rule I'm not allowed to fall asleep until 10... which is ridiculous and pointless since I usually go to bed around 11 anyways

I don't have very many female friends, certainly none that are very close. I spend alot of time with my mom- we go to the bar together.. she is just my best friend in the whole world! and she isn't married either. (I do have 3 other bridesmaids by the way)
Is it ok for my mother to be the maid of honor at my wedding, or is that totally out of league?

Ok well I just got a job at a gym and next week I am going to be training but the guy who hired me called to tell me my schedule and he asked me if I could come in for my first day of training on Monday and I have had a hair appointment for a month for that same day and I told him that I could reschedule my appointment to come in and train that day and he told me no.. not to do it and he thought it was funny that it was a hair appt. and wasn't mad about it. Well then he told me it was fine if I came in on Tuesday and that was great with me but at the end of the call I asked him if he was totally SURE that it was ok that I had my appt. on Monday and I asked him if he was sure that he didn't want me to reschedule and he told me that he DID NOT want me to reschedule!!! But I feel kinda bad even though he said it was just fine and no problem. What do you think?

I've noticed that the standard answer given to those who are looking for love is, " just be yourself ". So, whadda ya do if that isn't good enough to get you any dates or attention from the opposite sex.? Then what? Certainly, you're not supposed to pretend to be someone you're not, are ya? C'mon, doesn't anyone have a better answer than that?

If a man gives you an heirloom that has been passed down through generations of his family and you have no children to pass it on to. Would you give back a hunk of diamond like that so it stays in the family and goes on to a next generation or do you feel no obligation?

A few months ago, I wasn't there for my boyfriend when he needed me the most. After that he said that he shut his feelings off and everything just hasn't been the same. He works more now, most of the time actually, and only sets aside a day or two a week to see me. His passion for me, i feel, has died. I am not his #1 priority anymore. Instead I feel like i am at the bottom. To add to this, i just went away on vacation for a month. Before we were just starting to get back to being normal. Now that I'm back I feel like we've grown even more distant. He says he still loves me the same. when we see each other he still acts mostly like how he used to. The only thing is that he seems distant when we don't see each other. Not picking up my calls, not calling to tell me about his day or to say goodnight, not replying to my emails like he used to. Am i being overly insecure? Will things ever go back to how they were before? Do I just need to wait and be patient until he gains my trust again?

People say that you have to put "work" in the relationship in order for it to work. What kind of "work"? Is this type of work TIME consuming? Can this "work" be balanced? I see my brother doing ALL the work in his marriage (which makes me REALLY MAD), but he seems happy (doesn't he realize SHE is controlling him?).

Yes, everything is a problem. The last position had virtually no women. This one is full of them.

I am afraid I will do something unintentionally to get myself in trouble. I am out of the action, I am in the IT department. Before I even took the position, I was afraid it was going to be a minefield.

As a kid I found it very funny to hit boys in the balls and did it alot. Now I dont anymore but its still hillarious when a guy gets hit.

I have a son who is 13 and 4 months ago he was not feeling well, I asked what was wrong and he said that a girl on the block had kicked him in the groin. I bursted out in laughter I tried to remain serious and comfort him but I couldn't. 3 weeks ago it hapend again, same result. This time he told me that the girl does this for fun and that made me laugh even more. I had to do something so I offered to speek to the girl to make her stop. Next day we went to talk to her and met her just outside our house. I tried to reprimand her but my big smile gave me away, she smiled back and said "so you don't want me to do this?" and kicked my son in the groin. I laughed and the girl to
Do any other women think this is funny?
Should I talk to the girl again maybe tell her I did it too at her age?
Or is it fair that my son get what I put boys thru?

She won't change the bills over into her name. My name is on the account, so I am responsible. I live 1000 miles from her and my kids, and she won't let me speak to them on the phone or let them answer when I call. I cannot afford legal help.

So yeah, I just wrote a story, and I haven't written anything in a long time. Anways, first time I've dedicated a story.

"Dedicated to Chase and Annie"

(My friend Chase got hit by a car and lost his memory)

Back to the story: Earlier today I showed the finished and typed story to her, and the first thing she saw was the dedication and she said "Awww, you're so sweet!" And then kissed me and walked seemingly happily away with the story.

I don't really know what to think of this. Gah! I'm confused. I haven't talked to her yet since then.

Should I call her? If I do I won't know what to say.

I know I asked this 20 minutes ago but I'm kinda impatient when waiting for answers.

Last month I asked my husband for a divorce. He was spending all our week-ends on overnight fishing trips, making frivolous spending decisions without consulting me, and walking around with irritable mood swings. After 1 year of trying, reading books, therapy, etc. I realized that it takes 2 people to be in a marriage. I gave him the ultimatum before and he would straighten out for a while, but then want to do whatever he wanted to go again with no regard for me. When I confronted him about his mood swings the last time, he shrugged his shoulders and said "what mood swings." He is suppossed to take medication, but does so when he wants. I am exhausted in this relationship, and wanted out. He agreed with no fight, yet now that the papers are here for him to sign he is trying to make me feel guilty that it is my fault. What makes a 47 year old man think that he can have his cake and eat it too? Can someone help me understand this behavior?

So yeah, I just turned 18 (Yay me!) and I'm gay, and I have never had a relationship. I'm off to college at the Univerisity of Cincinnati, and have no idea about the clubs up there or anything. If anyone can give me a bit of advice for meeting guys that would be great.

Meaning...non-custodial parents are penalized if they don't pay child support or fall behind (garnished pay check, tax return, possibly new spouse's income garnished, jail time, etc...). While it seems like custodial parents can deny the other parent of seeing the child or control their visitation time with the child and not really be penalized for it...unless the non-custodial parent has the time and money to prove to the court that they aren't being allowed visitation.
It just seems like more measures are taken to assure that child support is paid over visitation rights.

I had to confess to a woman I've been seeing that I only shower once every 20 (approximate days) and she dumped me all because of that. We were fine before, so what gives? How do I win her back? And I shower once every 20 days because I don't want to pay for the extra water.
