well i would be nervous too if i was in a room full of men and the only women (vice-a-verse-a). mainly your convo should be real limited. most women have not had an intelligent man to have good conversation with them, open the door for them, and compliment them w/o some of the women thinking oh his flirting with me or oh he likes me when this is not the case at all. then they get their feelings hurt when they see you doing the samething for the other woman in the work place. this could cause problems. but i say the type of conversation they give you is the same conversation you give them nothing more or nothing less unless you see she's feeling you. hope that helps

Focus on your JOB. Keep all conversations to the IT field. Once you get to know the people you work with, both men and women, you should be able to learn who you can and can't open up around. Be sure thought BEFORE you go there. I would suggest waiting and letting any women make the first comments and go from there. Kinda hard for them to scream harassment if they started it..... Bottom line, if you aren't 100% ccertain, stay on the side of caution.

Many men work in various environments having more females more than their own existence in the location ... when you tell now about your fear, it shows your urge to approach even if you are not filed with such a case ... be right and be confident that you need it to be right through firm and cheerful actions and words .. never lean on mixed messages ... One could be sensed so well from his first look and appearance ...
Be right and beware of the fact that women's intuition is far above imagination ... not strange, how I read you that fast dear!

I wouldn't even joke with the women because some women out there will take anything you say and manipulate it into "sexual harassment"... good luck. Just steer clear of the shady women and be careful with your words.

If you can't keep your pants zippered and you
want to continue to work in the same department without being hauled up for sexual
harassment, then there is only one way.
Castration.

um dont be inapropriate? be professional. dont hit on the women at work or make them think you are a weird. better yet why dont you just not say anything that can be taken as a sexual innuendo. or just date outside of work.....and since your in It i really doubt you'll be dealing with any nurses or female doctors..

don't say anything sexual or that could be misinterpreted. Do you have a habit of saying inappropriate things to women in general. if not then you should be fine, you're more likley to screw up if you think about it too much. good luck

Just be very, very careful. I work in an office of mostly women. Be very clear about your intentions and always err on the side of caution.

Just treat everyone with respect. If you're not a pervert and don't act like one, then women generally know anything you do wrong is accidental.
