I was in a LDR and we made plans to be together. During that time, he got in some trouble. Well that made me think long and hard about our relationship. Well anyway he decided to marry somebody else. He tried to keep it a secret, but his sister called to let me know. I did havea gut feeling that something was wrong. I stuck with him thru some hard times. Now that he seems to have his life together, I feel that I should've been the one he chose. I live 300 miles way. If he wanted to have me in his life, he would've gotten an apt for us and I know I could've found a job. The parents of his new wife bought them a car and an apt also. I beat myself up thinking that if I would've been with him, he wouldn't have done the things he did and I would've been the one he wanted to marry. What makes it so hard is that the last couple of conversations we had, he kept saying how he wished I was there and that he loved me so much.

So we both just got out of a relationship, we were both cheating on our old partners w/ eachother. She went on in this big conversation last night about how she wants to actually get together but that she didnt want to come off as a total ***** w/ her ex, they broke up like 3 days ago. Now I dont really give a shity what mine thinks or says, but she wont get together w/ me until she finds out how to deal w/ her ex (whos all "i love you, i wanna get back together, i miss you so much, yatta yatta yatta)

How can she break it to him I guess?

I'm going out in a week with this guy i really like.. give me some advice on where i should go.

1) A nightclub followed with a walk on the beach(possibly skinny dipping).
2) Eating out at a resturaunt then the movies.
3)Walk in the park followed by a visit to a museum
4) A quick date at the amusment park then a stay at a hotel.
5) Niagra falls view and a string of attraction visits such as haunted houses and museums along the niagra strip.

What sounds better and do you have any other ideas?

In all the chaos, there are certain people I'm not quite sure I was able to say hello to at my wedding. When writing my thank you notes, I'd like to thank them for coming to the wedding with out the "and it was nice seeing you" part. Any suggestions on how to word this?

and the two cant physically see each other well the boy had a birthday and now he is considered an adult at the age of 16 and he and my daughter continue to talk to each other. I have taken away her cell phone but she begs for it back and I talked to her about sex, I love my daughter but am I wrong for taking the phone away even though the two cant actually "see" each other, and is it o.k. to let them just talk since the sex part happened before he became an adult? Myself and the mom do not live together. They live in Indianapolis and I live in Dallas. Any advice?

Guys I dont mean to be rude, but I just want to understand why do some men make a promise to a woman when they know they cannot fulfill. I see the point that you want to win her for that moment, but how about consequences...I mean, when you make a promise like this, dont you think "what will she feel when she knows that I just lieyed?"

I had an on-off affair with a guy for three years - we used to email me back and forth all day long. Now suddenly he says he needs to focus on work and can only respond to me by the end of the day. When the divorce was filed I signed custody over to my ex and I got visitation because I worked the night shift and being that I don't have any family nearby I didn't have anyone to keep my children at night (ages 2 and 4 at the time). I am still working the night shift however, I am remarried and my wife is able to be at home with the children at night (we are all on good terms and I know my ex doesn't have a problem with my wife being with the children at night) she does this now because we get them on Friday nights and we have them for the summer.
I need some pointers on what things I should include when trying to talk her into joint custody, I am seeking joint physical custody and proposing that she keep sole legal custody, meaning that she has the final say in decisions regarding education, health care, etc. because we always discuss things of this nature and come to an agreement. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and living together for just about a year... I love him and I know he loves me and occasionally one of us will mention getting married. He wants to move north and buy a house. The thing is, I keep getting the feeling that he wants nothing to do with getting married. Now, I dont want to get married next week or anything, but I would like to have it in my future and I am afraid that I'll just be waiting forever. Everytime I want to talk about something serious in our relationship (like when he asked me to move in) he acts goofy and tries to avoid the question. Now I find myself thinking about wedding stuff non-stop! I have almost every aspect of my wedding planned and I cant seem to stop. What do I do? I will probably end up waiting forever because I love him but I wonder if I am putting to much emphasis on getting married... Is there still a valid reason to get married or am I just following the Cindarella dream?
