I had an on-off affair with a guy for three years - we used to email me back and forth all day long. Now suddenly he says he needs to focus on work and can only respond to me by the end of the day. He used to text me on the weekends too and now doesn' do so anymore either. Not sure what's going on and I've known him to play games - how can I tease him a little and make him jealous?

Jealousy games are for people with low standards and even lower maturity. If he's pulling back, take that as a clue.

That's not a good thing to do. If a guy needs to focus on the main things in life then the last thing he will focus on is any sort of relationship. Work is a priority. If he plays games then why do you still talk to him? You know there are many guys out there who don't bother to play games with you, and rather than an on and off affair, they tend to call it a relationship. I know for 3 years that gets you a little attached. I would know, it's happened to me. I was miserable and thinking about it all the time. Please don't bother to make him jealous, it shows a sign of weakness and you would be just as guilty when it comes to playing games. Just keep your options open, eventually better things will come for you.

Here's the deal.

Girl's always think its a good idea to "make a guy jealous" so the guy will want them more, but actually this fails miserable most of the time.

Why does it fail? because guys don't like to be jealous ;) If a guy gets jealous over a girl, he loses interest in the girl.

If he thought you liked some other guy or saw you flirting, it wouldn't make him want you more it'd make him want you less. Guys don't like the jealousy game. Which is why girls and guys have so many miscommunications that way.

So by making him jealous you could be pushing him farther away.

BUT if you want him to call you more the best way is to just not try to talk to him. It might take him a bit to realize but then one day he's going to think "why isn't she calling me or texting me?" then thats when he'll contact you and be more intersted... Its a waiting game.

Its a sucky game and waiting is REALLY hard, but being impatient can screw things up majorly so just give him space and give him time to miss you. Abcense makes the heart grow fonder ;)

Hope i helped ^_^!

what you need to do is ignore him, don't make your self available. When he texts you or calls you or whatever ignore it for a few hours and then get back to him.. Don't make your self sound desperate either.. Like don't call him and text him all the time. If he wants to be with you then let him come to you.. Always be too busy when he wants to be with you. It won't make him jealous but it will make him realize how much he might like you

you should never want to make somebody jealous! Or at least put effort into making someone jealous! Trying to do so will only corrupt your relationship with him! DONT DO IT!!!

It seems to me like he wants more...But a good way to tease him would be to just stop sending him msg and he'll wonder what happened to you.
