It suxs when that feeling comes over you. I always felt that my friends had better lives them me and even in my 30's I sometimes still feel that way. It is your insecurities coming out. You have to just be like this is who I am, this is what I have and if you still feel you want more, then you are going to have to work for it. But the number 1 rule I learned is stop coma ring yourself to everyone because it will drive you crazy, and I know it is easier said then done, because as much as I try not to do that, it still sneaks in my head every once in a while. You gotta keep working on being happy with you.

Well, being competitive with a friend can have it's downside.. However, I'm sure there are things that you are talented in that make you a unique induvidual.. That's more important than being "better" than. I would just try and be yourself and do the things that make you happy and not to be better than anyone else.. Good luck

I know what you mean. I have like a perfectionist friend and she is good at EVERYTHING!!!
I sometimes get a bit jealous, but i just remind myself how lucky i am to have such a talented friend. Since she's good at everything, she can help me out with things i struggle with, and sometimes, when i find something im better then her at, its rewarding when i can help her.

It's just a little monster that lives inside of us that's named Jelousy...........
Just take some time and be by yourself and think things out. Cut communication for a bit and you'll see how much your thoughts clear up.

Choose not to feel that way. She may be better at some things than you are but you are better than she is at some things too. There is nothing wrong with that.

Find out what your good at and be proud of that. Be happy and accepting of yourself and don't turn your friendship into a competition. Find the value in who you are and appreciate your friend for who she is.
