When I was 16 I meet a 19 year old guy on the internet in a yahoo chat room. When I turned 17 we started dating. We dated for 3 years and some odd months. Then on Christmas Eve he asked me to Marry him. I was 20 at the time and he was 23. Not only is he the man of my dreams, but he gave me the wedding of my dreams. It was really the best day of my life. I would NEVER regret it. We got married for the right reasons. I keep seeing people say how dumb they where for doing it yet they don't regret it?? That just sounds like they are still naive. I married my husband because when I closed my eyes at night, he is he person I dreamed about. When I was sad, he was the person I wanted to comfort me. And when I was happy he was the person I wanted to share it with. He was and still is my world. We are going on 3 years and its the best thing ever. I know most people will say...."Hahaha 3 years they are still so young" but that is not true in our case. We are not normal 20 some year olds who are out at the bars ever weekend night and who don't know what its like to be adults. We both have great jobs (he is in the Air Force and I do Home Daycare) we have 2 pets who we love so much. Out fav the to do on the weekends is stay home and play games together. We don't watch much TV because that takes away from "Our" time together. We like to think that we have one of the top 10 marriages in the world. I don't understand how people can get married to someone and then just divorce like its no big deal. I would fight for my marriage and try my best to keep it together if anything ever went wrong. I'm just happy that we don't fight like normal married couples. It's just one more reason we are so great. After 5 years together we have never once yelled at one another or called each other a bad name behind the other persons back. We respect each other and that is what more people in this world need to do.

29 - it's still working. I'm 35 now. I don't regret getting married older rather than younger. We lived together for over a year before we got married, too. So in all, we've been together 8 years now (married for 6) and I have no regrets whatsoever.

i had just turned 18 and my husband was 19. no i dont regret it at all. we are exactly the same soulmates if thats what you wanna call it we've been married for 5 years now and its still like the 1st day. it doesnt have anything to do with age but with maturity and the person willing to make a commitment and stick to it. i love my husband and i am glad we didnt wait and wasted time

23, no, did not regret the age, regretted the fact that I was naive and trusting. That can happen at any age. And no it didn't work out.

I was 19, he was 21. We've been married a year and a half, and we're still as happy as we were when we started out. Neither of us regret getting married so young. It comes with its setbacks, but it comes with its advantages too.
