That is, what is the difference between "confident" and "arrogant/cocky" (although some women do like a guy who is "arrogant"/"cocky")...If you could provide examples of each in terms of how a guy might act each out, that would be great...

I know that sounds like a rude question, but let me explain. I have a 22 year old nephew. My sister and brother in law has kicked him out their house. After a huge arguement with my sister on why she would do such a thing, I went and picked up my nephew from the homeless shelter. He had ratty clothes on and looked just awful so I brought him home with me and gave him the spare room in the basement. We were under an agreement that he would find a job and pay his own expenses and buy his own food. Well after 2 months he has not found a job, he lays around all the time, goes out and parties every weekend, eats all our food and the basement is trashed. Now I have money and pain killers coming up missing!!!!! HELP ME

I am an A/B student. Very responsible and I babysit, yet my mom says I can't go on dates (even chapernoed ones) until I am 16! I don't know why she doesn't trust me! She says that if that is all guys care about then forget it! She even told me that because she couldn't go on dates 4 guys broke up with her because of it! I don't want that to happen! What do I do?

to get married immidiately. After his mother died, he wanted me to be there for him, and for some reason, he thought i was gonna leave him. After I come he start saying that he is VERY scared, so gave some time, because he never really had a serious girlfriend before me, and now he wants to get married. That may be a little scarry. Now a year after, he is still not really talking about the wedding anymore, and keep saying he scared still. I am tired of giving "Some time" after all this time. Should I just leave him and get someone else, because this sitiuation hurt me a lot.

P.S.: we are together for 3 years now. Never benn in any arguments or misunderstanding before this. He is very respectful.

PLEASE no stupid answer.

They have been together for 2 years and he left her to go home to mommy and daddy because they said she may not be the right girl for him.She has already bought her dress, (Big Bucks)reserved the church, etc.etc.She has been hospitalized today beacuse she is dehydrated and not eating literally dying inside.

my mother constantly strikes me and my sister with metal coat hangers whenever she gets angry. she also strikes us with fists and often belittles us. she says that we will fail in life and that we are worthless. she also often tells me to just go dies right now and tells me to go live on the street. she says not to eve bother coming back and asking for tuiton money for college. my sister is almost 9 years old and i turn 15 in three months. can i report her for child abuse even though there are no visible strike marks or bruises? please help. this has been going on for way too long. my father also sometimes is struck by her, whether by her fists or an object she throws.

So...I'm a teenager, I would say I have a pretty nice face (not like OMG GORGEOUS, but definitely not ugly). I'm slender, 110 pounds and im 5'3''. I do have some curves, and I do dance regularly so I have a toned body. The only thing is, I barely fill out an A cup...
Basically, I have a nice face, a pretty nice overall shape, and an outgoing personality but no boobs...
I just want to know how much it matters to guys. I'm going into highschool next year and I want to start dating, but I'm scared nobody will like me because of it...

I have not known this guy very long, but I keep thinking about him. He knows I'm in a rocky relationship which I'm trying to get out of.

I think he would think he is too old for me. Problem is I see him in a "professional" setting only. I won't be seeing him for that long either but I want to give him some idea that I am interested before then. I'm not great at flirting - its something new for me, I've always been very shy. Before I meet him I get so nervous, but once I'm there I relax and he puts me at ease.

I recently got in contact with an ex-girlfriend from my high school days more than 10 years ago. We have not spoken to nor seen each other in that time period. Upon getting in contact with each other we have become friends and have been talking a lot about what has happened in the last 10 years. She is happily married and living more than 400 miles away. I am married and both of our spouses are aware that we are in communication.

We are and have not thought about planning anything individually and in fact have been trying to plan a meeting that includes both spouses. My wife has recently demanded that I discontinue communication because it is damaging our marriage. So, my question is this. Is it wrong for one adult who is (or thought he was) happily married to communicate to an ex-girlfriend, who is also happily married, on a friendly basis?

**Keep in mind when answering that we are both open about our communications with our respective spouse.

im a quiet type person, loving very discrete and private, very smart and talented, absolutly love to laugh and joke around, however im also quick tempered, very sensitive and straight to the point. Okay, so I'm 14. My best guy friend (& only guy friend) was staring at my boobs today and another time too. Yeah, my shirt was kinda low, but only because I didn't want to sweat because it was so hot today & I have to work outside with younger kids at a park for 3 hours. He like looks at them, not for a long time, like a couple of seconds. He doesn't do anything though. He just stares. He's did it like 2 or 3 times today and 2 or 3 times the last time too. So, he's only 13. I like him though. I just was curious, what's he thinking when he sees my boobs? I know it's a strange question, but wouldn't YOU be curious too if you were in my situation? me and my best friend have been close since the 5th grade (in 8th now) but suddenly i feel a seperation between us. i figured we were getting sick of each other and needed some time apart. and she went on vacation for a week and i stayed home. so we hadnt seen each other in a week and we hung out but something had changed . she knew what annoyed me and used it to her advantage. i was getting really upset and had to walk away to restrain myself from saying something i didnt mean. i love her to death and still want to be friends but im desperate for a cure!
