tell what your culture believes about this issue.

in mine-my hubby is from jordan. woman are looked down upon if they are not cooking homecooked meals, have a perfect house, and kids have perfect grades. the cleaner and more organized the better the wife. my hubby helps a lot .

We talk everyday and nights and have develop a great friendship.We have not been intimate yet.He has been sick but he is getting better.He has surgery 2 weeks ago and the doctor put a device in his chest for his heart .This weekend I went to visit him and stay at his home ,we has a wonderful visit. He have ask me to marry him very soon so we can do some travling and what ever make us happy.He also told me that he wanted to signed his beauiful home over to me so inevent of his dealth I would him something of value from him.I like this man very much and it would be very easy for me to love him but I don't want to move to soon .Help me out here what do you think I should do.Please need serious response. .

Just got married in june. been together 3 years.Inlaws moved from AL-rent apt 3blk away. Husb.& I are looking to buy a house. he wants his parents to move in with us. The dynamics in our relationship have changed dramatically since they have been around. my husband is a momma boy, and mom is trying to compeate for wife role. I understand that she is retired and offering to cook dinner is nice...but i am constantly compeating for a place/role. In laws constanstly say racial comments about me being a mix.(wht-Mex) and hubby wont let me talk to them about these issues...Because they would get hurt and offended.."They dont know any better" , i have to deal with it.
I do have fears of losing control of my household etc. when it comes to his parents, they win. I already told hubby i dont want ANYONE to live with us! The relationship between the 3 of them is sick, co-dependent,manipulative etc. I dont want to be a part of that. In-laws moving in was not something we agreed to!

i had 2 grandchildren die within 4 months. my husband thinks i'm crazy. I work 40 plus hours a week, keep house in an 11 room home and have 2 cats and a dog, have to pick up my husbands dirty underwear make his dinner and get ,maybe $5.00 a day for my lunch which I have to drive 35 miles one way to work....no I have the perfect life. too bad I have no friends and no family to talk to. I just need to vent. right now i want to scream.

I met this guy recently, I didn't see him for long ,but he really got under my skin!! I think about him all the time. I know for a fact that he kept in touch with other ex- girlfriends (texting), and I have tried this, but he ignores me! How do I move on and stop obsessing, and making a fool of myself ( I send him a text every 2 days) which he ignores. I know this is really sad, but advice as he how I get over this, and perphaps some words of wisdom from guys as to why he ignore me, and not other ex's. I've been going on dates with this friend of mine for the last three months or so and he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. I said that I would really love to say yes but I'm having issues at the moment that I need to sort through. He told me he would give me a couple weeks to think it over then if I want he would be there. My issue is that I'm having trouble trusting him. He's given me no reason not to, but I am apparently still affected by my ex (he cheated on me and broke the whole trust thing inside me) what do I do to get over this?! HELP!!
