The consensus I get from women's responses here -- in general -- is that it is understandable and at least somewhat acceptable for a woman to cheat on her husband or boyfriend. Baring open relationships, it is NOT all right for men to cheat. Am I close? I don't really consider 'cheating' an offense on the part of either one, is they are mature, but the consensus here is that it is more all right for women than men. Right?

I keep the house clean, do the laundry, take care of our 2 children(8mo and 2) and am pregnant again. I have tried to give him everything I have, I have tried really hard to always be sweet and loving and not complain. I try not to ask to go do anything, I pretend I am happy at home(I want to go to college so very badly) I make big dinners, I let him have all the closet and dresser space(he has alot of clothes) I had a bit of bleeding and my doctor is worried I may have placenta previa and I am going in tomorrow for an ultrasound to check and he goes three hours away to go drinking with his friends(we are quite broke right now) my doctor is also concerned I may have cervical cancer based on recent pap results but he doesnt seem terribly concerned about that either. I feel like i dont matter, I try so hard to be the kind of wife he wants. Please help me understand what I could do better, I am at a loss. I have tried so many things but it seems worthless in the end.I just want to cry

Ok so I have this guy friend. and he told me he likes me, but one of his best friends is my ex boyfriend. So I don't wanna ruin there friendship so I told him I would like to be just friends. and he said I was really f*cking stupid, and that I am a sl*t, and that I am an A** hole...And also got mad because I would't snuggle with him durring a movie...Then he says that he loves me more then anything...Should I even let him be my friend?

A few days ago, my husband and I were having a discussions that got very heated. I eventually lost my temper and hit at him. He then pushed me down, jumped on me and bruised me up pretty bad. He also called me a f*-ing, stupid, b*tch over and over again for about 20 minutes. This is the first time something like this has ever happend in our marriage.

I owe him an apology. I feel like I started it by losing my temper. There are no excuses. Any suggestions for opening the communication channels after such a bad fight?

My friend is getting married in January. She is a large woman and doesn't want to walk down the aisle like the Staypuff Marshmallow Mam. So, she zapped the white or ivory dress. Her hubby doesn't want her dressing in medieval-like garb either (which looks great on her-she has several formal medieval gowns). Both she and her Mom sew, but they need ideas on appropriate dresses that perhaps use more than one color to break up the expanse (for want of a better word). She also doesn't want a strapless gown. So, do any of you gals know of sites for them to visit to get ideas? Also, suggested color schemes that aren't pastel, but would be still appropriate for a modern wedding. Thanks!

I just broke up with my boyfriend Derek after about 3 weeks. Derek was nice and everything but he does not know how to control his anger. I broke up with him b/c he treated me like a dog and acted like I could not go anywhere with out him knowing. And like talked to me like me I was a pice of trash and like I was a *****. And now everyone @ my high school is saying am the world's bigest ***** 4 leaving him do u think what i did was wrong. My neighbor, asked me to come over and talk to him for a moment. I thought that maybe his wife/ my friend was sending a message through him, since my baby shower is coming up next monday. Instead, as I went into their house..I looked around for her and she was not there..so I ask and he walks up to me and grabs my arms & begs me to have sex with him. I tell him no, b/c she told me that he had a 3-some with others. Then he shoves me against the wall & tries to tear my dress off. Screaming that he needs it! I am 8 mnths pregnant, & I had a hard time getting him off of me. I will not go into details, but he did something before I could get away from him. ( a minor thing) What do I say to his wife? Better yet, what should I tell my hubby about this and if he should confront the neighbor?

I've been c'g my new current bf for 4 months. We just celebrated our 4 month anniversary. We go out, kiss, cuddle & lots of touching. He has seen me topless. He says he loves me

Here's my story: I got engaged like 8 months ago and I will be getting married in 3 months.
I haven't really felt as excited as I think I should be planning my wedding. It's been very stressful not only has it been hard due to our families not really telling us how much they're willing to spend, but also the fact we had a really rough patch in the early stages of our engagement, money issues, i lost my job, and his job is not as good paying to support us both in the worst case I don't get a job, and not to mention his sister HATES me and I don't think his mom likes me very much but she doesn't say anything. It's just so much stress, I am getting physically and emotionally drained. I have woken up recently asking myself if I really want this, or I have dreams about being with other men, or just stuff like that. We also have been arguing so much recently due to all these things. I don't know what to do....

Be honest. When a guy you're seeing/dating asks you how many men you've slept with do you give him an honest answer or do you fudge the number a little bit? This special guys and I love each other for 3 years, but we have not have a chance to be together. We went to college together, but we are in difference states now. ---It's complicated.

First, he wants to be in a long distance relationship with me. But I said, "NO" I want him be happy and enjoy life. I don't want him to wait for me. If our love is strong we will find each other again.

I know he always look at my myspace and see how I am doing, but he would not call me or send me an e-mail. However, whenever I send him e-mail he always replied and say nice things.

I don't want us to be lingering. I asked him if he still loves me. He said, He has reason to belive the relationship would not work. He is more than happy to be my friend and very much respect me, but I should not expected us to be in a relationship.

Does he still love me? What should I do?

We are getting married in Decemeber. I havent seen my fiance in a year and the next time we meet we will say I do. We have been through a lot.. both made mistakes.

We do email everyday and we are close.. very much so in love. I am wondering if any married people were nervous as hell before they got married!?? I mean there are times I think about it and I have this mini-anxiety attack(if there is such a thing) and as it gets closer ... I dont know. I love him though...

why is it that only guys that i'm not interested in are interested in me? for once i don't want to reject someone, but actually be able to say yes when they ask me out. personally i don't find myself that ugly, in fact, a lot of guys think i look older than i really am, and at my age, that's a good thing. i have a decent number of friends, and i'm not hated by many people so i think my personality is ok... i just don't get why guys i'm interested in never seem to take a liking to me. i don't choose guys that are "out of my league." i'm attracted to guys that have the same interests as me, and i've never really picked the stereotypical "hot" guy. so what could it be?

A married guy asked me a question when we were hanging out at the pub. the question was if you were married (i am not married just have a partner) and went to town had a few drinks, maybe a dance and a good laugh would you be happy going home alone?
