What are you nervous about? If this person is willing to take you and your daughter and his to the zoo as a possible date prospect then do so. If it makes you uncomfortable then ask to go halves on the admission and food. This is a person whom cares about not only dating you, but getting to know your daughter too. Give it a shot.

YES! If you like him, then by all means, GO! You have to put yourself out there if you ever want another relationship. If he seems like a good guy, and you don't fear any real danger, then go, if nothing else, you'll have had a nice day at the zoo with your little girl!

Yeah, this is a great opportunity. Because you've just gotten over a breakup and had a break from the dating world. A light date like this one won't hurt, so give it a try. He's probably feeling nervous too, so don't worry. Just act natural and connect with him.

I'd go, but don't try and jump into the next rel. Try and have a nice time with your daughters,he might become a good friend first and then you'll know whether things could work out between the two of you.

All the best,
JB

As a single mother I know dating is hard; however I would strongly suggest not involving your children at such an early juncture. You must let the last relationship end, even though it's over.. the linger of that person is probably still on your daughter's mind...

It is hard to know when; however do your best to know.

I wish you well!

It is a daunting time for you and you may be using this man to enable you to ease the pain of a break up.It is not easy i have been their and found myself talking about her to the other party which ended in disaster. You may try and explain to him how you feel, but he will expect you to be up for anything he suggests. It sounds as though you are not and shows the genuine care you have for others.Should you go then look your best and if you get on OK then meet again. Then let your caring friends on "Answers" know how it went.

why shuddnt u go?

go, have fun...

no-ones stopping you other than yourself by the sounds of it.
agreeing to go to the zoo isnt making a commitment (other than to go to the zoo, of course)

u never know this guy may help you forget ur ex.

You should go. It's only a trip to the zoo.

This is a great idea, no fancy wooing or expensive gifts, just good old fashioned fun, go for it

It sounds that he is a very nice guy. Don't miss this chance. He may be a good husband and a good father. Good luck!
