Why can't they just be honest and not play around with women's feelings? I just don't get it.......does he want me or not??????

Maybe they send the mixed messages so they can watch women get confused and post questions like this on Yahoo! They sure are mean, huh? =( lol =)

Men send mixed signals for the same reason women do: they are either playing games, or they aren't sure themselves just what or whom they really want.

Men play with women's feelings!? Wow, thats the first I've heard of that lol. I am all for straight up telling a girl how a feel about her. Hookup, relationship, friendship, nothing at all, I'm honest. Just straight up as him if you really want to know. If he doesn't give a straight answer, he's not worth the time.

That first poster gave the worst possible advice. DO NOT listen to her or you will never get anywhere with men...TRUST me.......
You are not interpreting men is the problem...Men don't take the time to send mixed anything... we are not like women.. we don't send all these flirty silly messages. We just kinda are. You just see all kinda stuff. Alot of it just quite frankly isn't there....
Stop looking for all kinds of things and start talking and maybe you might find some things out but talk...Don't *****, Don't demand, don't threaten, don't do anything but ask and talk....respect............

Hmmm and women don't? I think it's a 2 way street on this question. Before I got married I've just about seen it all and women run the same program they just do it in a women's way.

Men don't consciously send signals much. And when they do...they send guy signals....and women don't understand guy signals. Ask a guy to interpret them.

Why do women send signals too like one sent me a signal like she liked me but more or less she liked me as a friend so I am getting all into it like it was a date but she more or less wanted to go out with me as a friend and she took me to this bbq place and we played pool and drank a few beers then she took me back to my buddies house and I was all like wtf and my friends were like wtf too she came and picked me up from my friends house wanting to just hang with me for a bit when she knew how I felt for her but then like yeah nothing door in the face it sorta sucked.. so men aren't the only ones to send mixed signals

Actually, women are more likely to do that than men...men are fairly straightforward as a rule but are sometimes reluctant to put it all out there for fear of being hurt.

i would love to know the real answer to this too but all i can think of is the thrill of the chase is over so they lose interest or they arent ready for a relationship. i come across this with most guys too, i always joke and say im a jerk magnet. i also am easy going, sweet, fun and sexy so i tend to be very confused by the actions of men, i am "seeing" "talking to" whatever you want to call it, as well.
