Yup I think it is...or he could just be extra hyper and is just being stupid. However, most of the time people spill their guts.

When a guy is really drunk, he will tell the truth about how he feels. But sometimes, they just say stuff to get into a girls pants, so you have to watch out for that. Usually these guys are all just douches though, and you should be able to tell, unless you are also intoxicated, when someone is saying something like this too you. But usually we will just say how we feel about things more truthfully when a guy is drunk.

Men can lie whether they are intoxicated or not. A mans behavior can sometimes be a better indication of the truth then what comes out of their mouth.

My best guess is that he is telling you what he feels/wants at that particular time. When he sobers up, he may honestly feel differently. I think everyone has said things that they regret while intoxicated; my experience is that a decent guy will be most honest, and least desperate, in a sober condition with a person he trusts.

Depends on if he was trying to "put the moves" on you. If he was thinking he had a chance of getting some, then he was probably telling you what you thought he wanted you to hear.

However, if it was not in a situation where he was thinking with "the other head" then he was more than likely telling you the truth but needed some liquid courage to get it out!

Good luck with whatever your looking for!

from what i have heard people who are intoxicated speak only the truth, so yeah those probably are his true feelings

Being drunk tends to amplify emotions. Keeping that in mind, it does not mean he is lying, generally I don't encounter many drunk liars. Usually drunk people are just excessively expressive. I would think his feelings to be positive about you but perhaps not as positive as he indicated when he was drunk. It's best to hear him tell you when he is sober then both he and you know what he is feeling.

there is a chance they might be true. being intoxicated has been known to raise up your courage to say stuff you wouldn't say in real life

Quite possible. The thing about being drunk is it brings to surface things you dont say, for various reaons. I think what im trying to say is its not always so black and white, sure he may love you someware in there but what sort of love?

I think it really needs a context to mean something

They tell the truth about how they feel about things when they are drunk. They may not feel the same at all when sober. When they are drunk they usually love everybody or hate everybody.

I wouldn't be so quick to say no. The first time my husband told me he loved me, he was drunk!! We were at a party an all his friends were telling him that they really liked me and he whispered, "I love you" into my ear. I assumed he didn't know what he was saying or even remember he said it but when I was driving him home, he said, "So, will you remember the day?" I said, "What day?" He said, "The day I told you I love you." Romantic, I know....but hey.....there's a case where I can say he knew exactly what he was saying and he was drunk!!
