when you say later babe, what does that mean?

I never actually say later babe, I say bye ;)
But I use the word babe when I want to hint to someone I like them.
So the person would of been saying "Later" (As in, bye) "Babe" (As in, I like you, hinthint,)

well i never say it --- i assume it means talk to you or see you later --- the babe part is just a term of affection that does not really mean a lot

Talk to you later, babe. Babe can be affectionate, or just in place of saying "man", or "dude".

It means he'll see you later, you're over analyzing every little thing he says aren't you, but you shouldn't be.

it means, I'll see you later, cause good-bye sounds final, and if it's not over then we say later.
