I like something like this, though it wouldn't have to be from Tiffany's.

I did have a choice, and I picked a sterling silver frog. When you look underneath the frog, you see he's really an enchanted prince in disguise.
Sorry, I don't have a scanned picture to link to, but trust me, I have the most romantic ring in the world and I wouldn't change it for the Hope diamond.
Why? Because it says something about my guy (a lot of girls passed him by as not being much of a much, but I knew he was something special), me (wildly hopeful romantic), and the power of love and optimism. Also, while he would happily have gotten me something with a stone, this went better with my other rings (also silver, also animal-shaped) and my wedding ring (my mother's triple-band silver ring). Thirdly, it makes me smile every time I look at it - which is often even though I've been wearing it for sixteen years! - and that's something money can't buy.
If other women love diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires, that's wonderful and more power to them. But me? I picked my frog prince because he's the embodiment of my perfect guy...and that's the guy I married.

A 3/4 ct princess cut, big but not too big. Take into consideration the type of work the girl does, I wear rubber gloves all day almost so I needed one i could put gloves over. The actual wedding band is going to be princess and baguette diamonds alternating.

When i went looking for one with my husband (fiance at the time) i told everybody that i wanted a heart shaped diamond with a cathedral leading up to it, because i dont like it when theres a ring and a diamond just popping out, that just looks weird..
but with both money being, and money not being an object, my engagement ring that i would want, is the one that I have on my finger.

and it gets better, if you look at it sideways there is a heart shaped hole.

I love my engagement ring my hubby gave to me .. It is princess cut with 13 diamonds in it and the wedding band had even more diamonds. It was simple but yet very chic. I would pick the one he gave me.

I dont have a link but i love the ring my hubby gave me as it is a cluster diamond and it is beautiful and he only paid 300.00 for it and my sister in law had to have a 3000.00 ring as my bil didnt think she would accept with anything cheaper. so he went into hock and is still paying for the ring as of now and they have been married 5 yrs.

Most important to me is to know that the materials used to make my ring were not used to fund conflicts in Africa. That said, platinum with a sapphire setting would be gorgeous!

I'd have a blue topaz ring, just like the one I have now. Similar to this, but without the diamonds:

Of course, it's the one I have. I can't send a link because it's a unique ring. It was a family heirloom that my fiance's mom left him before she died. It's not flashy, but it's full of meaning!

though, i'd probably want this in white and rose gold, with a 1 1/2 ct brilliant cut fancy pinkish-purple diamond
that is, if money were no object!!
