I recently asked if you guys would kill a baby to save a million people, or to save yourself (the scenario doesnt matter; there is no other choice than to kill the baby or let millions die)

Most people said they wouldnt kill the baby, because that would be murder. Wouldnt it be murder to let 1 million people die rather than just 1? Like i said before, Who these people are or why this is happening doesnt matter

Ok so my boyfriend currently lives about 1000 miles away. His birthday is in 4 days. I have no clue what to get him. We have been together for 9 months. I don't think I will be able to mail him anything because I think it will take too long to get there. I do have a webcam. Any ideas would help. PLEASE...

First of all my husband is 38 and I am 24. The age issue has never come up until now. We have been married for 3 1/2 years now and of course we discussed this before marriage. I made it very clear that I wanted to have a child and he agreed. Along the way however, we have suffered from fertility problems and have not been successful in getting pregnant. Now whenever we talk about it, he says that he is too old to have another child anyway (he has a 10 yr old from his 1st wife). I am lost with what to do.....do I give up my dream of becoming a mother or do I leave my husband. We have the most wonderful relationship together (minus the child issue). I don't know that I would ever find another man like him, but I don't know if I can sacrifice my future either....advice needed!

Can't do this properly in 1000 but I'll try. Split up some months ago with partner of 10 years (my fault). We have small kids, a joint business, a massive tangle of joint debts and a house that needs to be sold.

Things are vaguely amicable between us but I've been told in no uncertain terms that they won't be if she finds I have a new g/f. She's already made a proper suicide attempt and has also threatened to take the kids 300miles away to her home town.
I have a g/f and am keeping her secret because of the above, as I love my kids above everything. My g/f wants me to tell my ex about her now. If not I'm dumped.
I believe that with a bit more time my ex will calm, and she will become more accepting of a g/f announcement, and everyone will be happier. My g/f says I'm spineless and obviously care more about my ex's feelings than hers. I do love my g/f and want to be with her, but I feel that there is too much at stake to just tell my ex when she's not ready.

Our DJ asked us to come up with a song to play while introducing the best man. The DJ said that the song goes over the best when it is funny and pokes fun at the best man. Some ideas were: "I'm just a gigolo", and "I'm too sexy". Any other ideas out there besides these?

i have a business aside from my regular day job as an account manager for an hvac/r distributor.my side business does installation and service of hvac/r systems.i tend to get alot of family and friends asking to come over and service there systems and at times do new installations.i normally dont charge for servicing them,always do it as a favor.they tend to buy a part as needed or they will pay for equipement if needed.
but this past summer it seems everyone needed something.it took alot of my time the past couple of month and lost alot of money...all i would get was a pat on the back and a thanks...i even had some people get mad at me because it took me a day or two to get to them..when i finnaly didnt get anything....this weekend i need to replenish some of my supplies and its going to cost me and i didnt make anything...i just feel akward asking for money from friends and family...

I am going to my 18 year old cousins engagement party today. She and her fiancee are the same age. Neither of them have jobs and they are both just starting college! Their 'plan' is to get married in a year. His family is encouraging this marriage (probably because she is a great catch and he well, not so much) and her family (myself included) is against it. I know she loves him but he is the most immature inconsiderate socially constipated male that I have ever known! Did I mention he was homeschooled and doesn't have any manners or social skills??? Ahhhhh I want to be supportive but come on!

My husband has recently turned introvert- Spending time by his self sleeping, reading or playing computer games... Mental issues aside, this is effecting my whole family- My 5 year old gets told to "go to her room and play' all the time. I am the one who gives her the one on one time and I am 7 months pregnant. I don't want her to feel left out with the baby gets here but I also can't stand her getting in trouble with her dad all the time. See acts up and begs for his attenetion all the time. I don't know what to do :(

well its happened again,i've fallen out with my wife over her kids,my stepkids.I'm sick of there destructive behaviour,rudeness and hatred.there father is no help,counselling hasn't worked and whatever punishment is given they return to there normal ways.i've had 7 years of this,how long would you stand it,and i've stayed this long because i love my wife,i'm beginning to think it's not worth it anymore.

Things have been bad for me lately. As hard as I try to be optimistic, follow my heart, and work hard, things just don't work out.
A little history of my life
ages 0-16: get beaten up by my mother, abused physically, mentally, emotionally, verbally, psychologically.
Age 16: Meet the "love of my life", go into the foster system.
age 16-18: Go through more abuse while in the system, as well as my boyfriend and his family claiming to want to take me in and love me
age 19: graduate and move out into a crappy transitional living program in the middle of nowhere, get my heart broken by the "love of my life", and find myself completely alone. Ex claims to be friend and instead just messes with me to be cruel and hurt me again.
At this point I'm pretty much a loner, I have few friends; all of which are moving on with life. I hate my job, I struggle to get by, I'm lonely, and in two years I have to move out and I have no idea where I'll go. I've tried so hard but nothing works out.
Advice?

Had the same shoes for all the bridesmaids, but the boutique ordered the wrong color dresses so had to pick a different dress from Davids Bridal and now I don't think that the shoes will go with the new dresses, so 3 of my bridesmaids and I went to LOOK at different shoes and they all decided that since they didn't have to pay for their dress they could spend more on shoes and they found some that were $70! But now the problem is that two of my BM's can't afford the new shoes, well one of them can't and the other is like me and will not spend that much on a pair of shoes that she'll only wear once. I don't expect her to fork out that much for shoes, but should the shoes all match or can they look similar in color and style? I don't want it to look odd in the pictures though. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for all answers! : )

whenever he has done something to upset me or his son he will never apologize even when he knows he is at fault and he expects me to go running after him and make up, i dont want to do this anymore as i think this is what he expects me to do. does any body know what i should do to shock him? also believe me he will wait it out days , weeks and months. and if he ever does come back first he will always ask me would i have gone and got him eventually? why does he ask this?

SHe tells me that it is just her. I feel bad that I can't make her happy. And I can't stand the vibe in the house anymore. I am a positive person but with ehr being miserable, it's hard for me! It is taking a toll on the kids too who are now almost always down on themselves. I am gettign down on myself. She says that it is just her and not me....but when we argue about it, she is always telling me about what I did to make her miserable. I didn't do this, I did this...etc....if it is just her, why throw it in my face like it's my fualt? I feel bad....I think I am about to divorce because of it. Help!

I have been in a relationship with this guy for about a year and a half. We got engaged around Christmas and planned to be married this September. Now things just seem to be getting bad. He chooses his friends over me and if I say or do something that is wrong to him, I get treated like a 4 year old. He gets mad if I have an opinion about anything. If he does not get his way he gets mad. He will not take blame for anything he says or does. We are at the point in which we argue everyday. I am tired of it, but I do love him.
