Sometimes these things happened in our life.

It is unfortunate that he walked in on her while she was wrapping the present. I will try to give my answer without sounding cold-blooded. It would appear first off that he should have knocked on the door before entering, and then she could have had a chance to hide the present before he could see it. But if they have an "open-door" policy in their home, then she should have taken the present to a location in the house or out of the house, where she could wrap it in more privacy. I do not know how old she is, but if she is of driving age, then she could have wrapped it away from home. Unfortunately, this suprise present event is spoiled, but next time, she could plan a little bit better and she could tell him to stay out of her room unless she let's him in.

If he doesn't know that it is his the n she could always pretend that it belongs to someone else. she could try making statements like this 'you like that present you saw me wrapping, i cant wait to see the persons face wen she finally gets it.' or wait until friend Jane gets this present. But don't over do it. Then give someone the present to keep so that he believes that you have already handed the present to the person you bought it for.

all the best

Hi..
What she could do is give him a box, nicely wrapped..Have several joke presents wrapped up for him in the box... Let him think that that's his birthday present..After he finishes opening them....Then give him the present she originally bought for him!
I think he will still be quite happy with it!
Have fun at the party!!

make a little joke about it... I know you know what I got you but I had to wrap it anyway. And then she should wrap it in as many boxes as she can just to make it fun. Or something silly. Don't return the gift or anything like that.

It was an accident. Give him the gift, and in the future,
LOCK THE DOOR!! Or wrap it when he's not home.
Get over it, there are much bigger things in the world than
finding out what your gift is in advance! Move on, already.

It shouldnt stop her from enjoying her self and making her brothers surprise party the best ever! These things happen, you cant be emotionaly attached to them because it can ruin other things.

It's the thought that counts so she should still give him the pressie and suprise him in a different way ;-)
