I want your true opinion about what marriage means and Can two iindivuals live happily ever after. Without ending in divorce?

I get really good grades in school I help out around the house I respect them. But they seem to only care about my younger sister. When I do anything for them they Automatically think that my sister did it, and she never confesses that she did it she just lets them thinks that. And they dont believe me when i try to tell them. They forget my birthday, but they go on a cruise for my sisters. What do I do?

I lost my job a few weeks ago and since then, every now and again my husband will over a day or half a day start to have a go at me, but not always just about that but I get the feeling that is what is behind it all, and even the next day he refuses to apologise for nasty comments he's made, like I am pathetic, or he is the only one making an effort to bring anything in, even though at the moment we have his two kids with us for 5 weeks and I am making sure they are looked after, fed, clothes washed, entertained etc....and i adore his kids too so there is no hostility there. But I really feel like walking away for a week to see if he could cope on his own without me........

My brother lives in Indiana and is considering a divorce. I know through my own experience that child support goes on a fee schedule with combined income. How is it figured if the mother stays home and does not work. She home schools, they have 5 children ,4 are old enough to be in school full time.

k well a (almost to be senior) asked me (almost to be freshman) out.(hes 17 and im 14) i thought aboutt it and i called him up a few min ago and said yes.

he than said come over my house for a few. I said okay and "oh cool can i meet your parents" . he said "there out of town"

then he said "we can chill and watch a dvd or something" i said yes

so this is like a date sort a?

he begged me on the phone to come over and said it wont be awkard cause his parents are out of town.

I live in NYS and was wondering if a petition for child support can be filed for an UNBORN child??? I have three children by my ex spouse. His fiance that he is residing with is having a child and I was told he had her put a petition in for child support for their unborn child.. to prevent me from getting 29% of his full gross income... I put a petition in too however, I was told she put hers in first..... if she has... she'll get 17% of his full gross salary and I'll get 29% of whatever is left over... would appreciate anyone's assistance with this. Can this be done???

I hate that. When I feel bad about myself, I try to hide it bc i dont wnat people to notice, you know? but when people fish for compliments, its just like, idk. i dont like it. do you? i would want someone to compliment me on their own, not me having to make them feel bad so they feel as if they need to give me a compliment.

he calls them during they week they always say "I will let you know" (if they are going to come over) then you never hear from them. he has been divorced for 4 years, separated for over 6 years. the oldest son has never forgiven him for divorcing his mother, now the 14 and the 17 year old are actually talking and hanging out together which this has never happened since they were little. The 14 year who used to come over regularly now tell's his sister i hope dad doesn't call me and want me to go over...... yet when there's a trip or birthdays/holidays they are definitely around. Should my husband keep calling all the time and begging them to see him? And pay for them to go on vacations with us when they don't see us any other time?

Im getting married in 5wks time. Last night me and me husband to be went out. After a while i decided to go home as i had 3 kids at home and thought i'd betta go as 1 of us had to be in a fit state to look after the kids. My 2yr old still gets up in the night to get into bed with us and a 8mth that still wakes up for a feed. My partner on the other hand stays out getting pist and makes a tit of himself while out. This however results in him getting punched by a landlord of the local pub and also results in a bloke that is supposed to be doing entertainment for our wedding to cancel our arrangments.
This landlord owns 2 pubs that we go into and this bloke doing our entertainment is running one of these pubs and feels now that he cant do it all because my other half did what he did last night.
I am seriously pist off with it all. Am i right to even feel this way? or am i over reacting? Bearing in mind my wedding is only 5wks away and im now left with finding other entertainment?

My name is Meghan. i am about 5"3', i have long light brown hair with blonde highlights, brown eyes, tan skin, i weigh about 117 pounds, and my least favorite part....i sort of have a big nose. i hate my nose. it makes me feel very self conscious. i think that i am very pretty everywhere else except there. my sister always brings up how big it is and it makes me feel very sad/angry. i know what it looks like, you dont have to keep telling me. i cant stand when people see me from the side. when i notice my boyfriend looking at me and my head is turned to the side, i hurry and look at him face to face. it doesnt bother him the way it looks, it just bothers me a lot. can someone help me with this? and no i cant afford a nose job right now but i hope and pray that i can get one someday. do i sound attractive at least? thanks!

i asked a question, 'why should the government be involved in marriages anymore' in a civil society. among others, i recieved this answer: "they need to help protect the Godly image and plan of marriage...between one man and one woman and not let it be degraded."

my question now is:

if that statement about not 'degrading' marriage has to do with so-called, 'gay marriage,' isn't this a matter of individual conscience and religious affiliation that the federal government shouldn't be involved with? for example, the Metropolitan Community Church is a Christian denomination that believes in marriage between gay men or lesbians.

Certainly there is difference of opinion between this denomination and others, but if the governement does 'help' not to 'degrade' a certain view of marriage, isn't it setting itself up to become the arbiter of who is married "in the eyes of god," as the MCC certainly will argue that two men it marries are indeed married "in the eyes of god!"

I am 38 years old and i have never been in love. I AM VERY UNLUCKY with men. The men i have met just wanted me for sex and i cry a lot. I feel so empty and rejected there is no hope i believe i am destined to be alone. There are times when i would like to have someone to hold hands and cuddle with at night but noone wants to be with me. I have so much pain in my heart.
