My name is Meghan. i am about 5"3', i have long light brown hair with blonde highlights, brown eyes, tan skin, i weigh about 117 pounds, and my least favorite part....i sort of have a big nose. i hate my nose. it makes me feel very self conscious. i think that i am very pretty everywhere else except there. my sister always brings up how big it is and it makes me feel very sad/angry. i know what it looks like, you dont have to keep telling me. i cant stand when people see me from the side. when i notice my boyfriend looking at me and my head is turned to the side, i hurry and look at him face to face. it doesnt bother him the way it looks, it just bothers me a lot. can someone help me with this? and no i cant afford a nose job right now but i hope and pray that i can get one someday. do i sound attractive at least? thanks!

YES, but guess what sweetie, it's not about your nose. It's about how you carry yourself and work with what you got. Until you can afford to fix your nose, play up other features. You could always have a sense of humor about it and use it to your advantage, funny girls are beautiful. There are also tricks you can do to minimize the size, like if you have big eyes (make them bigger by using some eye shadow and eyeliner) if you have full lips make them fuller by using lip liner with a gold gloss in the center. There are many different things you can do to enhance what you have. Remember GOD didn't make a mistake, he did that so you can use it to your advantage.

Attraction is an individual thing. I would try and stop being so self-conscious about your nose; that sort of thing people pick up. I was in a relationship with a woman who had a large nose; kissing was a bit of a problem, but what ended it was that she had a horrible personality, nothing about her looks.

You have to realize Meghan that beauty is only skin deep. Sounds like you have the complete package so why worry about your nose? If a guy can't get past your nose then he is not worth the effort and you can do much better...and yes you do sound attractive!!!!

yeah you sound pretty. Don't get a nose job. God made you perfect. Some girls with big noses are cute. That girl from ferris buelers day off/ghost had a big nose then she got a nose job and she was ugly. Natalie portman's nose is a little big and she is pretty. Having a big nose is not that big of a deal.

Sister sounds jealous of you - and she is being mean. Next time tell her you'll do something not so pretty to her nose if she says one more thing about it...or even gives you a look!
See, you have a boyfriend and that right there tells me it can't really be that bad. I bet he doesn't even know you have a nose. He is probably thinking about your hair or your eyes or your chest or something.... Ok, so, don't worry about him.

You sound like a lovely girl. Did you ever notice Barbra Streisand's nose? She sure has not let her nose make her feel less attractive. Do you wear bangs? I have a friend with a nose complex and she always has her hair styled with bangs.

don't go changing your looks to please anyone and learn to become comfortable in your own skin. once, you come to love all parts of yourself, you will become more beautiful and confident. everyone has something that they are self conscious about, but you cannot let it control and ruin your life. you have a boyfriend that loves you and finds you attractive or else he would not be dating you. don't let your sister bring you down. she is your sister and tell her how you feel every time she says mean things. if she loves you she will understand how it makes you feel and should be more considerate. you sound very beautiful and never let anyone tell you different.

you sound beautiful. it's funny tho cuz i'm the same exact way! i know that my body is nice and my face is pretty exept my nose is kinda big and i HATE when people look at my profile. when i see them doing that from the corner of my eye i look at them face to face cuz i know thats a much better angle on me. which is exactly what u said. haha. i'm not gonna get a nose job tho cuz thats pretty stupid. god made me the way i am and i know people think i'm pretty otherwise. so don't worry bout it either. haha good luck!! =]

everyone has inperfections and having more of a nose doesn't make you any less of a person or less pretty. it's just a feature, you have to learn to accept yourself for how you look. it's best to just have it there, if your uncomfortable about it maybe just have fun and make a joke about it now and then or wear sunglasses. cause remember the nose doesn't make the person the heart does.
