he is keen and wants a relationship. He said I am like a motherhe never had. I started off doing his housework and getting paid for it. One day he told me he loved me and wanted to take it further. He has no family. Am I taking advantage. I feel guilt about it.

I have a group of friends, and there are about 7 or 8 of us and we always hang out in school. Everybody talks to everybody, and we're pretty good friends. However, there's this one girl in the group who talks to everyone, but me. I mean, when I say something to her, or ask her a question, she'll respond in a nice, friendly way, but she never actually talks to me herself. Whereas, she talks to everyone else all the time. She never actually says anything to me, but she'll respond when I say something to her. Why is this? Is there something about me that she hates? Why does everyone else talk to me, but she doesn't?

I have a little sister who is 6. I Know she is little but she goes a little too far! My sister has some...er...privacy issues. She kinda stalks me. She goes where ever i go. She comes with me into town with my friends! Sometimes shes fun and sometimes she's nice to chill out with but im literally with her 24/7. And no i cant talk to my parents...they will just say wut they always say "she's ur flesh and blood and she is ur best friend" or something like that! HELP!!!!!

When I was a kid and I did something really stupid, I got my @ss kicked. Many of my friends got their @ss kicked to when they were kids and they turned out to be really smart and successfull people. Even though I got hit with a wooden spool on my hands, @ss, back of my legs, and hands, I thank my parents for that. If they didn't do that I would have probably turned out to be totally different. I'm not being racist here, but it seems like white kids are the biggest brats, and my theory is because the parents don't punish them properly. I know many of you will disagree with me, but with what I've experienced its really helped me in the longrun, your thoughts?

I even mentioned that many of our common friends deride her in her absence, calling the family, the "family of overachievers". Unfortunately she has taken the whole thing negatively and is now giving me the cold shoulder. What should I do? Did I do the right thing telling her about this?

Yep, i'm beating this one like a dead horse. My 32 yo bf told me while I was 7 mos preggo that he didn't want to have anything to do w/ me or the baby even though we both wanted it. He said we we couldn't have it (I assume he wanted me to get an abortion). I explained to him that this was impossible and immoral and I would not do it) I thought we could work something out. He sent me a horrible e-mail the next day telling me to go f##k myself and that he had another gf and that she was preggo. Then he denied it 2 weeks later, but he doesn't call me anymore or check on me. What do you think happened? We'd been together for 2 years, this was a shock. Why wouldn't he have said something sooner? He works with his family and they don't even know? I'm have my theories but want other opinions.. I'm doing well financially and am very healthy, but my emotions are shot. My friends and family have been very supportive and I've been talking to a lawyer about child support.

i've been married to my wife for 3 years now. we have 4 children together also. it seems that we are just the co-parents of these children. everything revolves around the children that we are just coming across as an old grumpy boring couple. we each sit at seperate ends of the sofa and reminice about the days when each of us had a life. we are like strangers put together and we both seem to dislike being together even though neither will say it. we are just bored together. i have been chatting to women online to ease some boredom while my wife is at work. this is exciting to me. do all relationships frizzle like this one and are we doomed to be miserable for as long as we continue going?

First off let me just tell you im on my dad's side and i wanna live with him. Hes very very mad. His face is red right now. Anyway, today we went to see a new apartment that we were gonna move into. We get a room and a bath and share the kitchen and living room. So that means we are gonna move in with a guy. Now, from my mom's side its not a good idea. She doesnt wanna live in a room where theres 3 people. Then after we left me and my mom started screaming in the car. They were arguing, obviously. My dad has payed the rent and bills for about 3 years now. The first year my mom & dad worked together. Then my mom stopped working with my dad. My mom has been laying around, being on the computer and doing nothing. She didnt even try out for a job. Now heres the main part of this situation. My mom wants to take me and go back to our country. We have no house or anything there. She has no job. What are we gonna do there? Continues...

I met a man online in June.He and I started dating on June 20th. We have been seeing each other almost everyday/weekend since.The relationship started to become very uncomfortable.He would make rude comments about me,my home,my up bringing.I told him that I didnt want to be in a relationship anymore.He said"Why,I like you.We can work this out.Lets talk about this.I want you to be my girlfriend." I felt bad for hurting his feelings so we stayed together.I went through a divorce from an abusive man last year and I told this guy about it. When we went skydiving two weeks ago he made fun of the abuse!! He said"All Brian had to do was slap you around to get you to marry him." When we got back home I told him to never call me again.No Emails.Nothing. He called and Emailed and said "Oh,I'm sorry.I only want you to be my girlfriend.I'm so alone!Why wont you be with me?No one wants to be with me!" We got back together.How do I make him go away?Should I just ignore him from now on.I dont know?

How do I put this ,I have been going through a bad time lately and have always been independent .To my horror I discovered that every single one of my so called friends could not help me out .I always thought that they would have my back as I have been there for them every single time they needed me .I just broke down and cried not actually wanting to believe that all this while that i have been giving myself to them 110%They obviously just saw me as a ways to a means,Why do I do this ,I realized that i make myself so available to others thinking that this is the way it should be,because that is exactly what a good ,loyal friend does ,right?How do I stop giving too much of myself .and how do I protect myself from repeating the same stupid mistakes?And how do I say no and not make myself feel like I have to take responsibility for their problems.You dont understand ,When I care about someone I automatically feel the need to nurture the relationship ,usually to my detriment.

I dated someone for a little bit two years ago and felt like we weren't connecting, so I broke it off, which hurt her. We remained friends, but not close. However, lately, I've been seeing more of her, and I've realized it was a mistake not to have stayed with her. A few weeks back, I invited her over for dinner. It felt like a date -- she even wore an attractive outfit.

Then things went into crisis mode at her job, and she disappeared for a few weeks. Also, her replies to my emails were really short (if she did reply) -- I wasn't sure what to make of that, so I stopped pestering her. But, last weekend, she invited me over to her apartment to hang out and watch some movies. We had a good time, but I'm not sure if it was a date (and I didn't work up the nerve to ask). I emailed her an invite to a music festival this weekend, but she said it wasn't her kind of thing and declined. I asked her if she had other plans, but she hasn't replied.

Any opinions on what's going on with her?

i met one of my best friends in year7 and we were really close
but me and my friend started to get bullied a lot and i moved to another school leaving her behind =[

I was dating an ex-con for about 6 months. We lived together for a while then the relationship went south due to different circumstances. During a fight one night he threatened me with bodily harm and told me if I got the police involved "do I think I would be safe for the rest of my life."
He has now gone back to prison on a parole violation and they want to charge him with terriorist threats.
Should I agree to this or just let it go? I am not sure what to do. I am afraid that he might hurt me, but I don't know.

I'm a junior in college (20 years old), and just trying to figure out where I want to live. I went to college about 3 hours away from home, so I'm used to being away from close family. Ever since I was little I have always wanted to live in a city. Originally I'm from a very very small town. Part of me wants to have the small town life, living close to my family etc. My boyfriend doesn't really want to live in a city, and wants to stay close to his family. The other part of me wants to move to a big city and work. I don't want to live a single and independent life the rest of my life at all and i want to have a family, but I want to make a big difference and work in a big city too. What would you suggest doing at this point in my life?
