My friend brags a lot about her lineage, family etc. I spoke with her about it as politely as I could.?

I even mentioned that many of our common friends deride her in her absence, calling the family, the "family of overachievers". Unfortunately she has taken the whole thing negatively and is now giving me the cold shoulder. What should I do? Did I do the right thing telling her about this?

most people who brag all of the time, are very insecure.

she has problems, and probably doesn't feel 'as good as' the rest of the crowd for some reason?

i think it was ok to bring this up to her... she probably doesn't even know why she brags (if that is what you want to call it).

you could let her know you still care...
