I would want a lace-up back instead of the buttons I think.

Honest opinions please....trust me you won't hurt my feelings.

they have a return policy so I can return if I don't like it.

I agree there is alot of detail on bodice...I'm hoping by having the lace up it will simplify it a bit.

What do you guys think about ivory vs. the gold it is shown in?

I think it's gorgeous. I like the bodice just the way it is, the dress is very elegant. It also depends on what type of wedding you're going to have. If you're having a "backyard" type of wedding, this dress is too formal, but if you're having an indoor wedding, it will work find. I like the color of the dress, and think it would be very pretty in ivory, too. Follow your heart, it will tell you which dress is the right one.

Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!

It think it's gorgeous! Of course, it depends on your size. If you are a larger size, sleeveless dresses can accentuate parts that we would rather leave hidden! The same goes for a lace-up back - larger girls may find it quite uncomfortable and unforgiving. However, the style would suit up to a size 14 or so quite nicely, but again, check the cleavage. In terms of colour, you really need to try on a dress in the colour you want to order - does not matter what the dress is like that you try on, only the colour - the difference between gold and ivory and white can be the difference between radiant, and sallow or sick-looking! All colours would be beautiful depending on what suits you best. I think you have made a beautiful choice, and I would choose the button-back anyway - it detracts, not adds, to the detail and is much more elegant. Good luck,
from a Wedding Consultant!

I think it depends on your body type and individual style of course - but I'm personally not a big fan. I think the detail is pretty, but the neckline seems a bit heavy. If you are a smaller girl I think the dress might overwhelm you, on the other hand if you are bigger girl, it could be very figure flattering because you could wear a full support bra and the waistline would be nice and narrow. Totally depends on you... If you do get it, I'm not sure if the lace-up would be too much with all of the other detail on the dress. I think either gold or ivory is nice. Gold can look really warm and beautiful in pictures.

I tried on a few of this style and it is very flattering if you have a smaller chest. A lot of the dresses I tried on looked like little buttons in the back, but there was a hidden zipper underneath. Much easier to put on! It is true that a lace back will pull things in more, but I think it also may be uncomfortable.

I think it's magnificent.

I love the embroidery, the way it falls, the halter neckline...it's gorgeous. I think it's dignified and elegant, too.

But the important question is what you think of it and how it looks on you. If you're really in love with it, why are you asking us? Go try it on! If you love how you look and feel in it, and it fits your budget, then get it by all means.

Corset lacing in the back? Why not? I think this gown could carry it well. Ivory rather than gold? If that's the color you prefer and your skin looks best with, then go for it.

That's really quite a splendid gown.

Wow i love it. I think it would be gorgeous in ivory too!

One thing to mention is that type of neckline works well if you are not broad shouldered. Girls with wider shoulders should go for half sleeves or straps that point outward rather than inward. If you are not worried about that then i say it's beautiful!

If it doesn't come in lace up I think buttons stlll work. Good luck!

Very pretty. The buttons will keep it more simple. A lace up back will be much too distracting when there is so much embroidery on it. Not to mention that the lace up back isn't flattering on many women.

I think it is okay, but there are a lot of other one on that site that are much prettier, however its how it looks on you that counts. As for gold or ivory it depends a fall wedding would merit a gold dress but if your going any other season I'd stick with an ivory. Best wishes!

I'd be a bit dubious about the bust -- it just doesn't look quite right in the pictures. You'd really need to see how it looks on you. Looks as if it might be OK on very low-set B-cup breasts, but with all that detail, remember people will be looking at that area closely, so you want it to fit perfectly. Quite a lot of wedding dresses have sewn-in cups or are at least structured to be worn with nothing underneath -- is this one of them or not?

I think that its really pretty!!
I think that the top part of the dress looks really glittery and it has lots of jewels, maybe you could eliminate some of them?! But the rest of the dress is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I think that going with lacing up the back instead of buttons would be a good idea!!!
